Davis Turlough

The great thing about tryouts that year was they had an awesome turnout.  The downside was Davis didn't have the heart to make cuts since everyone awesome so @Chaol Edevane and him decided that everyone made the team.  That had the unfortunate side effect of having the three extras on the pine pony during their first game.  As much as he hoped they'd all be in the air that game, he knew that wouldn't be possible without significant injuries and no one wanted that.

"All right.  We're going to be counting on you lot to keep your eyes and ears open while down here.  We also need you to be as frosty as possible in case we need you to jump in... though, and I hope you don't take this wrong, I hope we won't need anyone to jump in since it'd mean... you know..." Davis cleared his throat slightly, flicking his eyes towards the rest of the team with concern before returning his attention back on @Charlie Wheeler, @Dax McQueen-Trengrove, and @Tamsin Sauvigni.  "Anyway, I want you all to be keeping an eye out for the snitch.  Atticus is amazing," he paused and clapped a hand on @Prince A. Charming's shoulder, "But even he wouldn't say no to 3 extra pairs of eyes.  Everyone is an important part of this team, whether in the air or on the ground."

"Let's go bird hunting, Gryffindors!" Grabbing his broom, he tucked it into his shoulder before nodding once and heading towards the pitch.  IT had taken him a year, but he was finally accepting his place of semi-following in his parents footsteps - not that he was having any intention of ever mentioning that to his sister.  @Aurora Turlough was far too smart for her own good and he wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of admitting she was right to sign him up last year.

Tamsin Sauvigni

Tami was back on the bench again, a seat she was accustomed to by now and she didn't really object. The team was larger this year, so it was not possible for all members to be flying against Ravenclaw. There were new members among those that would be most active today, and that was a good thing, although new members had been left behind as well. It had not escaped her attention that poor @Charlie Wheeler was here on the bench with her.

Still, she remained optimistic. "Alright, let's keep our eyes peeled guys" she advised the others "we may not be up in the air at the moment but we can still help the others to clip a few eagle feathers, can't we?"

Kay Wickham

The weight of this responsibility did not go unnoticed for Kay. Seeing her teammates on the bench—some experienced players, some less so—made her position on-deck for this game even more important. She couldn't let them down, even as a beginner! Learning curve or not, she'd be taking the stairs two steps at a time to earn her place and repay the team for their faith in her muscles!

--It had to be her swole arms, after all, that were the reason why she'd been granted this opportunity. It certainly wasn't her knowledge of the rules (minimal) or her skills with a broom (most of her moves were upside-down), so all that remained was her sheer physicality, and the determination borne out of building up a well-oiled machine of a body.

She would prove them right to have put their trust in her buffness... for if she could not catch them when they fell, with arms THIS EPIC, who could?
