VH40 Hufflepuff House Stands

Rising above the grass of the Quidditch Pitch were several towers of bleachers for supporters of the House Quidditch Teams.

One stood tall and shockingly bright in colors of yellow and black with badgers prowling across the banners that proudly waved from its rafters. Each game, the seats were filled with the just, loyal and determined of Hogwarts' population. They waved their scarves, banners and assorted supportive goods.

It was the Hufflepuff stands.

River Wolfe

Sitting in the Hufflepuff stands, River felt a bit of unease wearing the goldenrod colours of his boyfriends house, of course, he wanted to show his support, but, he had to face facts.  Other than his boyfriend, and a few acquaintances from his year, he didn't know anyone from the house.  With his self woes set aside the game had started and River was in awe as he spotted @Orpheus Midnight.

Flying through the air with such grace, so nimble!  The Ravenclaw couldn't help but to stand and cheer after nudging his bench neighbor and speaking "That's my boyfriend!"

Kieran Wells

Kieran tried not to go near the other houses stands unless he really had to. He wasn’t sure why but he found it bad luck. Also, he was definitely not wanted. However, those sorts of thoughts did not matter because he had a job to do. If the stinking snitch was over here, he was going to be with it. He flew fast towards the shininess in the area, probably scaring a few ickles in the process.

Thankfully he didn’t take out anyone. Just swiped at the air before the snitch fluttered away. Kieran grumbled trying to grab at it before it went out of sight. How unfair. "Yeah I'm in your stands, what are you gonna do about that???" He asked before taking off.

Nathaniel Frost

Nate wasn't one to get attached easily (just ask @Jacqueline Frost), but out of all the mentors he'd been assigned, @Nox Bordelon seemed the most...normal. The Head Girl terrified him, and he wasn't entirely sure if Desmond had ever seen the better side of a shower (Nate was terrible and always lugged around a shopping bag full of slugs, but he was clean) and appeared to be the source of everyone's tension.

It also helped that Nox was dating Adam's sister, so naturally, it had not been a tough decision.

"Adam!" He yelled at his roommate where he was seated on the bench. Nate would have loved to watch @Adam Sinclair play, if only so he could throw slugs in the direction of the other team to discourage them and entertain the other boy in the process. It wasn't house spirit, he just really wanted someone to catch the slime in the face.

🔪

"Nox! Hit someone!" No, Nate did not know how Quidditch worked, so instead of actually paying attention to the game, he pulled out one of the slugs, rustling the bag in his hands, and carefully eased it down onto the benches. He would send out more, but he didn't want to use all of them up so fast—he had a promise to keep to @Robbie Curtis, after all.

Speaking of—"Robbie! I'll give you more slugs if you do a good job!"
