VH40 Gryffindor House Stands

[[VH40]]

Rising above the grass of the Quidditch Pitch were several towers of bleachers for supporters of the House Quidditch Teams.

One stood tall and glaringly bright in colors of red and gold with lions prancing across the banners that proudly waved from its rafters. Each game, the seats were filled with the brave, loud and adventuresome of Hogwarts' population. They waved their scarves, banners and assorted supportive goods.

It was the Gryffindor stands.

Veronica Dursley

Veronica didn't normally go to watch quidditch games, but she definitely thought it was possible that her brother would want to talk about it after he was sorted in a couple of years. That would have been the definite reason that Veronica made her way into the stands clad in everything Gryffindor that she owned. She would definitely have to write Vernon about this match and hopefully have something that made sense.

Though, it probably wouldn't.

Jacqueline Golden-Keisi

Just when JJ thought she’d tried absolutely everything in her efforts to find the elusive snitch, it occurred to her that she was wrong. She hadn’t tried everything – she had tried the most obvious strategies, which did not encompass every possible tactic ever. There were hundreds of Quidditch fouls after all, and she hadn’t tried any of them yet in her search for the snitch, so surely there were some more possibilities there!

But maybe before she resorted to fouling, she’d get creative in where she looked. She’d mostly been circling above the action to try to get an eagle’s eye view. It was the most logical approach, but as it wasn’t working perhaps it was time to try another approach. JJ took a wide loop around the perimeter of the pitch, half-looking at where she was flying and half-looking inward at the pitch to see what she might’ve missed.

Her trajectory happened to take her directly past the Gryffindor stands at a close distance. JJ took just one moment to smile dazzlingly and wave at the crowd. So what if these were the opposition’s supporters? Perhaps some of them would become her fans once they saw how well she was flying!

WC: 202

JJ seeks!

Task 6. Post both in the other house's stands and in this game on the same minute.

Ryszard Althaus-Valerio

As much as Ryszard didn't want to leave the common room, he couldn't let yet another person in his life down in such a drastic way, so he reluctantly made his way to the Quidditch Pitch as a cheering force for @Aiden Hunter (he didn't think about the fact that he would probably not be attending the Hufflepuff match; not unless he was dragged along for Adam and Nox, and it was yet another sign of how things had changed).

He was well aware that @Julian Pritchard was playing on the other team, and he wanted to be there for his mentor—the boy who had taught him to duel—too (this was why Ryszard didn't maintain more than one (1) friendship at a time). It had only taken him a moment to decide on opting for merchandise that sported red and blue, as well as a banner that he'd bewitched to alternate between the lion and the eagle (if anyone asked, it was all Jaxon's handiwork).
