Some girls are just born with glitter in their veins

Pali had been playing truth or dare with people that morning. Truthfully she had no secrets. And if she had she never kept them for very long. That was hardly unsurprising. So instead people had given her a dare. Although usually people were scared of their dare. Pali was overflowing with excitement. Even more so than usual.

Dressed in all black like a ninja she had made her way to the Great Hall armed with a new spell. Although what was on her feet were decidedly less ninja and way more conspicuous than she was probably going for. But she couldn't go anywhere without her usual light up wellies. Duh.

Slinking into the Great Hall like a Ninja on a mission she tried not to draw attention to herself. Easier said than done in her wellington boots and her wild bush of hair. Suddenly she had climbed up on to the table closest to the head table and thrusted her wand in the air yelling her battle cry "HIYYYYYYYY-AWWHHHHHH!" And then she slashed her wand threw the air like she was dancing, sending huge brightly coloured bombs of glitter crashing down in front of each teacher sitting just trying to enjoy their lunch. "NOW EVERYONE CAN BE PRETTY!"

Professor Pellegrini

Lisette blinked in surprise as a student leaped onto the table in front of the staff. It wasn't unusual for there to be some pranks and antics at the start of a new year, something the runes professor had always taken in stride. Oh, and now she had her wand up. This would be interesting. Without an incantation to give her any hints, Pellegrini simply had to wait and see what happened.

Five seconds later, Lisette was shaking silver glitter from her mass of blonde hair. A great deal of it wound up in her couscous. A shame, she'd been enjoying that.

"A lovely sentiment, Miss...?"

Too young to take runes, and not in Ravenclaw. Pellegrini shrugged.

"I do indeed feel quite pretty now. But I don't suppose you know a spell to remove glitter, as well? From a plate of food, perhaps?"

If punishment was to be meted out, it would have to come from one of the more stentorian professors.

Professor Pichardo

A child, dressed like a ninja wasn't a surprising image to Oliver Pichardo's eyes.

He didn't have a ropes and climbing course in his backyard because his daughter liked to wear dresses.  But, the outfit donned by the young slytherin that was climbing onto a table in front of them did seem out of place when classes had already begun for the day and she should have been in her uniform.  (Though rumor had it the student body was rebelling against that this year)

At any rate, Oliver did notice the girl climb onto the table and thrust her wand into the air.  He had a few fractions of a second to cover his hand over his tea and reach for his own wand as the sound of his pocket sneakoscope started chirping faintly - a token he'd taken to carrying around after teaching a year's worth of defense classes right out of the gate.   Something was about to happen...

Then, glitter... everywhere.  Why?

Miss Lushia

Taking a break from the students in the hospital wing, Britney decided to go get some food. As she was sitting there, something was happening and as she went to go take a bit out of her food there was Glitter all over it. "You know I already take care of students, I don't want to take care of staff members also that get sick for eating glitter? Do you have something to say for yourself Miss...? Britney didn't know her name, not yet at least.

Twila Wilde-Hextor

Twila let out a laugh at the glitter-fied staff table around her. "Excellent!" she declared. She thought this was highly amusing, and only a minor inconvenience. Twila put down her fork, drew her wand, and wordlessly vanished the glitter that had landed on her plate. She did the couple of serving bowls nearby as well for good measure - justifying that if everyone did the same, there'd be no glitter in any of the food - and then re-holstered her wand and resumed eating her lunch.

She squealed, now the Professors were beginning to notice her. Oh no.

It didn't stop her making it rain. A purple bomb. A silver one. A Green one in front of @Professor Pichardo just for the sake of house pride. Giggling nervously she then turned to @Miss Lushia and gave her a mall smile "Er, no it's ok it's edible!" At least she thought so. No way to know till tomorrow she guessed.

Giving @Madam Wilde-Hextor a little wave and a big grin (she missed not having her this year) she then hopped down off the table and legged it out of the Great Hall once again. Total Ninja like. Except for the lighty up boots.
