Ollie Celeste

Okay.

"Mucus Pipistrellus." Dax's nose couldn't catch a break these days. Just Seeley's fists.

She turned to @Professor Santiago for no particular reason and finger gunned.

Molly Stone

"Heya, Bee," Molly beamed, before she spotted Ollie and a wide smile sprung to her lips like a streak of sunlight. She spun over to her, threw her arms around her shoulders in a hug, and kissed her cheek.

"It's great to see you."

Damaris Denton

Damaris could only blink at the older students that were shouting around them. “For sure...Merlin, who knew they all had so many opinions on Seeley.”

She gaped when Juan mentioned he’d been benched. “Well that was obviously a mistake on their part. Maybe they thought you were too good and wanted to make it easier for everyone else? Even in that case, you still should have been allowed to compete.”

Juan Garcia

Why was he agreeing with Dax?!?!?! DAX?!?!?!

And of course Ollie just kept rambling and rambling and being her typical, annoying self. How was it possible they'd ever planned to steal a magic carpet together? All he could feel when he looked at her now was rancor.

"Hey @Ollie Celeste, you mess with Dax, you mess with me," he yelled back. Dax was truly a piece of garbage, but right now, he needed to prove a point. Slytherins stuck together, and Ollie was the only Ravenclaw involved. If only Fletcher had gotten the memo. "Have fun waking up to all your right socks having holes in them!"

And then a bat bogey hex towards Dax. Juan quickly brought up his wand, jumping up from his seat, not hearing Damaris, and blocked the spell, "I TOLD YOU CELESTE. MESS WITH DAX. MESS WITH ME. BRACCHIUM TENDERE!"

Fletcher was cancelled, at least for the evening, for going with girls over his own bff and Juan was uncancelled for the first time since the beginning of time. This was truly a time of shifting alliances and, somehow, Dax had ended up with Juan instead of literally anyone else in the world.

Whatever, at least he knew Juan could throw a punch.

"I will hEX ALL OF YOU, I SWEAR TO MERLIN." He drew his wand too because, like, he couldn't let Juan defend him and then not have his back too. That was rude and totally against bro-code. (Fletcher.)

(Molly my angel GMed with permission)

Though Ollie always loved a fight, she loved Molly just as much if not more. So when the Gryffindor made her way over to her, Ollie stopped throwing spells around to catch the girl in a hug and positively beamed at the kiss. “It’s great to see you too, I-” before Ollie could tell Molly she’d missed her and was looking forward to seeing her on the platform, the younger girl had pushed her aside and screamed: “CUNICULI PEDIS!” Which had almost deafened Ollie, but it was better than losing her bones.

“My hero,” Ollie smiled, ignoring Juan and Dax for the much better offer. “When did you learn that one then?”

Damaris Denton

Damaris respected Ollie, she really did. Ollie was her dueling mentor and had literally fought a dragon with her two hands. But Juan was her housemate, teammate, cute, and though she didn’t really understand what they were fighting about, she was decidedly on his side.

“Oh damn! Better not mess with Juan!”

"JUAN!" Honestly... what was wrong with him?  "WHAT is your problem?"  Yanking out her wand she was ready to stop the spell but Molly beat her to it.

Spells were suddenly flying and what in the world had happened to her drama free year?  She just wanted to make things work with Des and go to class and duel and maybe place in the tournament for once and... it was the flipping first day and there was already a duel over the table in the great hall.

Their new headmistress was going to expel all of them... but, hey at least she would know their names.  Maybe that was a good thing?

"Put your wand down Dax... you aren't gonna do a thing.  Besides make people pass out with that smell that lurks like you do." She rolled her eyes.

"It's not nice to talk about smells given he won't be able to sniff anything for a good month." She removed herself from the hug with Molly to bro punch Seeley, before returning to hugging Molly with an ear to ear grin across her face.

At least Molly hadn't ABANDONED her like Damaris </3

The jinx shield flew from her wand without thought, and Molly threw a scowl in Juan's direction. "Really?" She growled. "Will you ever grow the hell up, Juan? You're trying to maim her?" It was apparently tradition for Ollie and Juan to fight at the sorting feast, and Molly was learning more and more reasons why it was best to side with Ollie.

She beamed up at Ollie. "Dueling camp over the summer! It was brilliant, amazing, you should'a been there!"

Juan Garcia

"If she's maimed, she leaves for the evening and goes to the hospital wing. Everyone wins," he snapped back at @Molly Stone. He was bitter she'd blocked his spell, but he wasn't going to let her get away with that either. He'd catch up to her in the chamber eventually.

And what was this? Dax was... also ready to fight? With his wand, no less. As if these weren't all duellists he had no chance of beating... Juan nearly snorted at the ridiculousness until he remembered, for the time being, this magic-deficient loser was on his 'team.' Oh. AND Damaris. Good. They weren't completely lost then.

What was his problem? Really Seeley? Really? "You're the one with issues if you keep following people that MADE YOU CRY, need I remind you. How the HELL are you with THAT?" he yelled, "He doesn't have to put down jack! Dax don't even acknowledge her."

“Quidditch camp for me… apparently that was for nothing,” she huffed, before turning to Molly. “Next year though we should totally be camp buddies. Maybe they’ll teach me something that would PERMANENTLY SHUT UP CERTAIN SLYTHERIN BOYS.” She levelled a glare towards Juan and Dax in case it wasn’t obvious.

Xenia Lupu-Haidei

It seemed as though nobody at this school knew what an inside voice was, or how to calm the hell down and have a proper dinner. She had to admit that the drama between the older students was pretty funny. As long as nothing hit her she was perfectly content with just sitting back and watching the chaos. "Kick his arse," she directed at @Ollie Celeste. She didn't know this girl, nor was she on her team, but they were sitting at the same table so if she lost her damn mind (which seemed like it would happen sooner rather than later) Xenia didn't want to be in her path.

She didn't even really know who the "he" was referring to.

"He's all talk and no action. Punch him in the nose, in fact."

Who was she talking about???? Xe didn't know.

Dax Gordon

All these jokes, SO MANY JOKES. Dax was laughing so hard.

Somewhere, at some point, somehow, Juan had learned some stuff and was apparently right (at least a little) and not being absolutely awful and maybe he was right. Seeley didn't deserve to be acknowledged, but she did deserve something else. He leveled his wand with her horrible, horrible chest with her horrible face that made his ex-bff a horrible traitor. "Oppugno ." Bored, uncaring, because, like, he was way too cool for this stuff.

"It's whatever, these losers are totally not even worth anything. They shouldn't be breathing our air like this." Because now they had an entire posse and Dax could back up anything he needed with said posse and thus didn't need to prove anything. (He still would, tho)

Damaris Denton

Damaris had to admit—at least to herself, that she was getting pretty jealous about all this talk of dueling and Quidditch camp. There was no way her mother would ever let her go to either of those camps. Hell, her mother still didn’t know that she’d joined the team.

There was an ickle now who was trying to encourage Ollie to fight Juan, and she had to roll her eyes. “Yeah, okay, Juan literally took on a seventh year in a Quidditch match. He is not all talk. Don’t talk about things you don’t know about, ickle.”

Arabella Jones

”Molly!” She yelled, beaming at the Gryffindor. Arabella had spotted her from across the Hall, and had come gliding by. The Slytherin house table wasn’t her favourite place, and anywhere with Molly was always better, anyways.

”Hey,” she said, almost shyly now. “How was your summer?” She asked, fingers trailing on the sleeve of Molly’s robe. They had been writing letters to each other the whole time, but there was nothing that compared to seeing her in person.

"That's ridiculous," Molly snapped at Juan. "Leave her alone." She was still hugging Ollie, because apparently she didn't know the custom of when it was appropriate to drop hugs, and hugging Ollie felt so nice.

"For sure!" She agreed animatedly with the older girl's suggestions. "I'd love to go to a Quidditch camp too! And it sucks it's canceled, but the Triwizard Tournament will be awesome, right? Maybe there'll be dragons! Despot won't be happy," she added as an afterthought, and laughed.

A new voice joined the fray, and Ollie turned to look at a new Ravenclaw. Last year, she had dragged Julian into her fight with Juan and that friendship had blossomed! It was obviously a good sign when the ickles participated in disagreements. “Quatrifoli! Is that the best you’ve got, Dax?” She stuck her tongue out because she was extremely mature. “Watch this,” she winked at the young Ravenclaw girl. “Tempestas!” She aimed her wand at Dax, before turning it on Juan. “Stipitis!”

Throughout all of this, she still miraculously had an arm around Molly.

If looks could maim... Juan would have been maimed.  Bruised and quite possibly on fire.

But, alas... they could not and so she was relegated to either trying to respond to his hurtful words or, actually no she didn't have the chance as an assortment of food objects were lifted off the table when Dax Gordan proved he actually did know how to use his wand and she was caught in a mere split second of shock before she lighted her wand and produced a shield that joined Ollie's.

She heard the spell that the ravenclaw cast and knew just what went along with it.   Aiming her wand back at Dax's busted face... "Fulinis!"

"If you're not gonna walk up to me and say it to my face then be quiet," Xe shot at @Damaris Denton, then turned her attention back to the older Ravenclaw girl who had just thrown another spell. "Get him right in the face," she kept encouraging.

Obviously this was going to be more entertaining then eating.

Killian stood up, about to tell everyone to knock it off, because this was definitely not the Slytherin house he knew and loved. What he got instead was a lightning hex to the face.

You're welcome, Dax. You live to fight another day.

She yelled at Juan.. and Dax and ugh... why was @Desmond Potter taking so long in the bathroom.   Poor Grayden.   Poor Killian.
