spark of inspiration

name Abigail (Abi) Rose Stancil
house Gryffindor
birthday August 31, 2016

This is not a natural sign for Gryffindor, but some Gryffindors do end up born under the influence of Virgo. They are hard workers and usually very bright; they tend to be more ethically obsessed than most. Some Virgo wizards are also sorted into House Gryffindor because of their amazing imaginations; on the surface they may appear straight-laced and almost nervous, but inside is a wealth of romantic yearning and fantastic excitement. They quietly build dream castles in their minds; and the practical influence of the Earth element means that they, unlike more flighty signs, may have some chance of building those dream castles on solid foundations.

hometown Skerries, Ireland
blood-status Half-Blood
five words Adventurous, Authoritative, Stubborn, Protective, Calculating

Adventurous Did you know that dragons live amongst the wizarding society? Did you know that theyre invisible? Probably not- but Abigails been informed of such since a fairly young age. Having been gifted with an active mind, she could often be found digging around in the childrens section of her mothers library in pre-hogwarts years, flipping through the most seemingly interesting titles and then bringing their tales to life in the real world to make things a bit more interesting (as otherwise sitting around in a quiet library was no fun). By nine years old she had a best friend- his name was Scottie. Scottie was a dragon on the run from death eaters because he wasnt like most. Those of evil blood wanted to harvest and use his abilities for future gain, so she did everything possible to protect him and others like him from harm. Constantly with a need to be active both physically and mentally, Abi has an uncanny ability to twist together real life events (ie: death eater attacks) with fiction (invisible dragons), and create the most interesting adventures one has ever taken part in.

Authoritative A fan of leadership, it wouldnt be unlikely for this Gryffindor to be found trying to manipulate those with authority so that certain situations and ordeals lean more in her favor. Within her small group of friends she always has to place near the head so that she can properly guide them through whatever theyre doing, whether that is a school project, adventure, or merely shopping for the worlds best candy. Abi likes having control and will do quite a bit to gain it, yet still once she does have such she wont take advantage of it entirely. Those she guides she often becomes rather protective of.

Stubborn Never attempt to disprove anything Abigail says, for if one does she in turn will do everything in her power to either turn things around or make them out to be a clueless dolt in front of as many peers as possible. Everything she does and believes quickly becomes part of an important mission of some sort, something that cant be meddled with, and due to such there is a strong motivation to avoid failure. Abi does whatever possible to ensure people believe and understand her, cover all bases to avoid trouble, and make the paths leading toward whatever she has her mind on doing clear.

Protective Are you a family member, friend, or dearest counterpart? If so, then you can count on Abigail to have your back. Even if having your back means she has to lie, weave through some of the most difficult obstacles, and risk being locked up in a detention room for a month, shell still do so because the relationships she has with people are very important to her. Friends and family are the Gryffindors backbone, what keeps her from falling apart at the seams when things start getting too hard to bear, so guilt would be crippling if something happened to them and she wasnt able to prevent or stop it.

Calculating Though her way of doing so might be a little different than the more logically minded, Abigail often plots out her actions before actually performing them. In an attempt to keep out of trouble and perform actions in the most productive way possible, she analyzes the different aspects of a given situation, lists out what could happen, and then puts out a plan with the hopes that it'll help avoid those things. Such plans often involve lying and deceiving if trouble arises, but most of the time such isn't done due to a selfish desire but rather to ultimately to gain some greater good.

Ivy
+Masculine.
+Associated animal is the butterfly.
+Guinevere the fairy bride rules over this wood.
+Determination, strength and protection.
+Ensures success in business.
+Good against wayward spirits.

Unicorn Tail Hair
Unicorn hair is a more subtle wand. It is also hands-down the best core for healing, as it picks up some of the healing capabilities of unicorn blood. Unicorn hair has a reputation of picking gentler or more cerebral users, so it is common amongst Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws. More laid-back Gryffindors and subtler Slytherins may find themselves with a Unicorn hair wand.

As the Unicorn hair can be removed without the death of the creature, the Unicorn hair wands specialize in Charms as Charms may be extremely powerful, and the generality of them, expertly cast, are quite permanent, some may be fairly easily countered or canceled, however. The Healing power of the Unicorn lends itself well to Healing and other more subtle arts such as Seeing.

Good For: Charms, Healing, Seeing, COMC, Divination

father Steve Stancil

Steve was born into an average muggle household and lived there with his mother, father, and brother. He lived out his childhood like any other: attending primary school, learning, and making friends... but as the years progressed he began noticing a few things that separated him from the rest of his peers. For instance, if he REALLY wanted an object that his parents or teachers refused to give him- all he had to do was look fixedly at it for a few moments before it would suddenly float in the air toward him. For the longest time he believed this was because he had 'Superman' powers, and would often show off to his brother these powers whenever their parents upset him. Once his eleventh birthday rolled around however, Steve discovered the true reason behind his abilities- he was a wizard, and thus would soon be transferred to a different school than his sibling. One of wizardry... one of magic... Hogwarts.

Throughout Steve's Hogwarts years he stayed relatively close to his brother. He sent him mail via school owl, enthused about the amazing new things he was learning, the new friends he was making in Gryffindor, etc. It was during his third year that Steve met Stacy, a Hufflepuff girl a year younger than himself. Both were taking part in a student run Quidditch match: Stacy was a beater for one team and Steve chaser for the other. Stacy knocked Steve out: it was love at first... strike. :3

Ever so slowly the two became friends with one another, and Steve started drifting from his family a bit. Rather than tell his brother everything that was occurring in his life- he did so to Stacy instead. This surely caused a bit of conflict between the two for a while. About two years after graduation Steve and Stacy married- and gave birth to twins. Steve's brother had a son right around the same time- Gilbert, and it was through their children that they grew close again. Steve works with the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee, using his family to bounce ideas off of.

mother Stacy Stancil

Stacy grew up in the country, where her best friend owned a farm that raised cows, chickens, and so forth. During her childhood shed often spend time at her house and make friends with the animals, but it caused a bit of a rift between her friend and herself when her letter to Hogwarts arrived. While both her mother and father were of the wizarding blood, they enjoyed the company of muggles and had raised their daughter to hide the fact that she was a witch around her muggle friends. Thus it was hard for them to understand when she went to explain that shed been accepted at a special school. What kind of school was it? For overly smart people? The rich? Why did she have to go now?

It was difficult for Stacy to come up with a proper excuse that theyd accept, so slowly she began drifting from them and grew closer to the wizard friends she met whilst in school instead. She was sorted into Hufflepuff and later became a member of the Quidditch team. It was during a game later that she met Steve and they became the best of friends.

After graduation, Stacy took on a job at her local wizarding library, specializing in the children area and taking part in activities there. This became especially helpful when the twins were born, as she was able to take them there often and have her fellow workers watch over them.

sibling Ari Stancil, twin. (VH26) They were born about a half hour apart. Abi at 11:50pm on the 31st of August and Ari at 12:15am., on the 1st of September.

patronus

Wolf Learning wisdom. Though the moon rises every night Wolf always finds something new to learn from it. We, too, in exploring the hidden paths of consciousness, may discover new truths to share with the rest of our clan, the human race.

Abigails patronus is a wolf, primarily due to its intellect and the relationships it has within its pack. A wolfs pack is more or less a family unit. Wolves live together, hunt together, and work together to raise their young. They also arent naturally violent creatures, but rather only get so when either a member of their pack is threatened or they themselves feel in danger. Thats a lot like how Abi works. Because her mind tends to run on a different plane than some others a lot of the time, she can feel fairly misunderstood. Being an typical girl that bothers her, so any and all people whom show any ounce of acceptance toward what she believes and who she is get automatically put on this list of Ill do anything for you. There arent very many people on that list most of the time, but that doesnt matter. Shed not into popularity anywhere near as much as she is trust.

That leads to another point too- while wolves might seem kinda violent in some of their pictures, in reality they dont normally attack unless its for survival purposes or somethings threatening their pack. It takes quite a bit for a wolf to attack a non-threatening, non-prey creature and that can be said to be true for Abigail as well. Unlike the more stereotypical Gryffindor, shes not really one to be entirely over-run by her emotions to the point that she reacts before thinking. Thats by no means saying that she wont react or partake in revenge behaviors because she will, but the girl sees punishments as one of the most restricting creations ever brought forth by mankind. She will do nearly anything to avoid them if she can (manipulate, fake!cry, whatever) and only when she cant and sees no way around it will she then go ahead and do what she had to do regardless of consequences. The eat or be eaten mentality will kick in at that point.

Wolves are also adaptable and Abi can be that way as well though in her case adapting often takes the form of her changing her behaviors so that she can try and manipulate certain outcomes. If one thing doesnt work one time, shell try another thing the next time, and so forth. Very rarely is she discouraged- she just learns from her mistakes and makes sure to do better later.

mirror of erised

Success If Abigail were to find and look into the Mirror of Erised on this day shed see herself standing outside Azkaban walls in a victorious stance, with every dragon friend shes ever met flying in celebratory fashions behind her. All evil beings and creatures will have been captured and removed from the public world via her hard work, thus thrusting everyone into the most peaceful and happy times theyve ever before experienced. Everyone would be free to do what they want, live the life they want, and roam the globe without a single worry present in their minds.

boggart

Helplessness Unable to help oneself or others; powerless or incompetent. Especially in regard to friends and family. Abigail has always been the type of person to try and prepare herself for anything, including the unexpected. Shes often confident enough in her abilities to develop a solution for whatever problems that arise in her life. If, however, an ordeal occurred where she was literally stripped of every resource and thus deemed INCAPABLE of getting her friends, family, or self out of a serious situation she would be forced to realize what she really is- just a little girl with limited experience and skill. This would not only terrify her, but prompt her to question quite a bit about herself as well.

~~~~~~~~~~~
From from 1st-4th year (her brother getting continously more hurt the longer she tries to help him).
The memory of being hog-tied was still very fresh in Abigails mind when she went to enter her defense against the dark arts class that day. The night prior shed even stayed up until well past midnight working on a note, for if there was a single thing she wanted to make sure of it was that such an activity was never again done for the remainder of her Hogwarts career. The note was clutched tightly in her hand as she walked in the door and, before sitting down to endure whatever he had in store for them next, the blonde slipped it onto the mans desk. The next time he went to gift himself with a bit of relaxation, hed be welcomed by an argument not even a hundred year old senior could fight- using students as bait was illegal and worthy of ten years in Azkaban.
Only once she was certain the parchment was in a place hed see it did the Gryffindor go to sit down; and it was then that she grew instantly suspicious that one Professor Toyama had something even worse planned for them now. He began speaking about fear, taunting them with the challenge to think of what brought they themselves the most terror, but as she sat there and stared at him Abi couldnt immediately think of anything that had. Since she was old enough to talk, shed constantly lecture her cousin on the ridiculousness of running from such harmless things as insects and cats. Ninety-nine of the things people feared most were only dangerous if they allowed them to be. Afraid of falling? Dont lurk too close to a ledge. Afraid of clowns? Spray water on them. The make-up will disappear and theyll be clowns no longer.
Most fears could be taken care of instantly; all that was required was not being over-come by them.
This theory was only reinforced further when they were presented with a demonstration, one where their dear professor revealed his own silly fear (strange clothes, of all things) and defeated it with a single flick of his wand. It was that simple. There was little more to it- so again Abi grew certain that her theory was correct. Fear was merely a figment of the mind and could be easily gotten rid of so long one was strong and smart enough to defeat it. With this belief firmly planted in her thoughts, she lined up with the rest of her classmates with relative ease. So many of them already appeared nervous over the idea of facing their impending dooms, Ellie included, but as was expected her friend was able to easily defeat her fear. And what was the thing anyway? It looked like a bloody Bigfoot. How weird.
Dont worry, Ellie! Abi exclaimed once the creature had been properly taken care of. No Bigfoot will get you in our dorm. Bernard will set it on-Ari?
Seemingly as if her brother had been out early that day and called in to help with his sisters lesson, one Ares James now stood in front of her with a rather boastful expression. what. What are you doing-
*CRACK*
An invisible force awoke then, suddenly unleashing its power and bending her twins arm at an awkward angle, breaking it into two. ABI!
ARI!
*CRACK*
Another blow and this time it struck his leg, snapping it like a pretzel and collapsing him to the ground. ABI, HELP!
I... I
*CRACK*
The sound of breaking bone vibrated through her, turning every thought capability she had to mere babble as she struggled to take in the scene of her dying sibling. ABI!
I d-dont know
*CRACK*
ABIGAIL!
I CANT!
*CRACK*
Unable to stop the tears from welling into her eyes, the Gryffindor sunk the floor beside her brother and buried in her arms. I cant.
From end of fifth year onward (Duncan Cunningham binding her in place and being unable to get away or stop him).
She wasn’t ready. The written portion of the exam had been easy enough, but when Abigail returned from lunch only to be told that they were meant to be facing a ‘dark creature’ next, all confidence she managed to gain began to waver. She’d been made to fight against more than enough shady figures over the duration of the year; her sanity was nearly lost. It was an exhausting feat to keep going while every person continued to work against her and she didn’t want to do it anymore. Even if the ‘thing’ now was no more than an angst-filled grindylow, she’d not the time nor energy to deal with such an inconsequential creature; grade or not. It wasn’t worth it. She didn’t care. They could fail her now if they wanted to.
Still, the Gryffindor was ushered into line regardless, destined to be one of the first to take on the feat because of her rather inconvenient A name. The entrance to the hall had been completely hidden behind a black veil, so when Abigail stepped forward she couldn’t see anything but it and darkness. That in and of itself arose an even stronger desire to turn and leave, prompting the blonde’s gaze to meet that of the examiner’s. “Is this really required?” she questioned.
“Yes.”
“Even if I’m willing to take a T?”
“Yes.”
“That’s not fair.”
The last statement came out as more of a whine as Abi stomped through the veil, but all thoughts of annoyance instantly disappeared when the darkness swallowed her. Pulling her wand from her robe’s pocket, she blinked a few times to force her eyes into adjusting and then stared at the man standing before her. His mint green robes indicated he was meant to be kind, helpful, but when she focused on his face his lips pulled upward and into a sneer. “Surprise” the man said, “Didn’t really think you could get rid of me that easily, did you?”
“…I thought” narrowing her eyes, the Gryffindor glared down at her feet. “You’re not meant to be here.
“Thought what? That the auror you tattled to would stop me?” with every word he moved forward, hand reaching for something in his robes. “Nice try. She didn’t believe you anymore than the others.”
The sound of his footfalls drawing closer raised Abigail’s gaze, prompting her to step back in response. “She did.”
“But did she really?”
When a wand was risen and directed at her chest, Abi acted automatically. A scream of “Exhaurire!” echoed through the room, but was quickly replaced with one of terror as the spell exploded around the blonde and was joined by a mass of ropes binding her frame in place.
“Kill me if you want” Abigail growled as she fought against both the binds and tears pressing against her eyelids. “I don’t care. They’ll find out the truth eventually. I know it.”
At the heart of all Creation
a dragon's tale (entirely concocted via the mind of Abigail Stancil)
On May 2, 1998, a great battle broke out on Hogwarts grounds. Many beings fought that day- witches, wizards, giants, house elves... and dragons. The majority of history books cover the deaths and sacrifices wizard and muggle kind suffered through to regain their freedoms and rid the world of Lord Voldemort, but near to none mention how another species lives changed forever as well. A decent group of dragons fought valiantly amongst the wand-holders, spitting fire at any death eater they happened to cross, but in the midst of things something happened. A fury of spells were cast, struck the creatures before they had the chance to get away, and everything they once knew to be 'normal' was no more. As their flesh turned invisible, the dragons completely lost contact with the majority of their families. They entirely cease to be in the minds of most.
Most- but not all. Over time the original victims passed, but their descendants continued along the glitched genes. Any person whom held an open mind and willingness to see beyond the 'norm' had the ability to sense these descendants and the young Abigail became one of them.  There have been three dragons of the invisible sort she's happened across over her lifetime. Their names and locations are listed below- but be careful. They aren't nice to everyone.
Scottie: Discovered while shopping at the grocery store with her mother. Over time Abigail convinces him to come home with her. He currently resides in her bedroom and hides under the bed when danger lurks about.
Earl: Lives on the Pre-Hogwarts Primary playground. He quite enjoys hiding in the background and watching children play. Abigail left a heart for him on the school's wall.
Hubert: Resides on Hogwarts grounds and lives in constant danger of death eater detection. Abigail does what she can to warn him when she senses danger. She takes it as a personal responsibility to keep him from harm- certain that if evil discovers his whereabouts they'll both kidnap and do terrible, terrible things to the poor creature.
from me and you
alexandria braelin-vonhaus
___. Sixth Year Ravenclaw Arch-Nemesis
To say Abigail dislikes one Alexandria would be an understatement. From the day she was discovered setting up a 'dragon hunt' out on school property, the Gryffindor knew she couldn't possibly be good. There was only one group of people she knew of who enjoyed partaking in such a barbaric thing, after all. Death Eaters had had their eyes on dragons for hundreds of years- desiring their strength for vile plots. In the eyes of Abigail, that could only mean one thing- AJ was one of them.
anna wolff
___. Seventh Year Gryffindor House Mentor
Originally Abigail believed that she didnt need a mentor: that they were merely people handed the right to boss younger students around. She didnt want to have a boss, shed come to Hogwarts so she could be free of such things, yet in a tragic turn of events she was forced into adding her name to the mentoring list regardless. And that was how she and Anna came to be acquainted. It wasnt until the first year came to realize that her mentor was a prefect and thus held the power to assist her with more things than the average student that she came to be quite fond of her. Her mentor was a prefect. Her mentor was the best ever. AND- her mentor could return to her any points that were unjustly taken away.
ares stancil
___. Sixth Year Gryffindor Brother
Ares is Abigail's twin brother, born a whole twenty five minutes later than herself. Because of this the two are fairly competitive, doing whatever they can to one-up the other, but at the end of the day they truly do care for each other. Abi is a strong believer in the idea that only SHE can pick on her brother. All others must prepare themselves to feel her wrath.
astaldarion thanrion
___. Sixth Year Gryffindor
Teammate
Astal has always been... a very interesting boy, to say the least. His strong distaste of anything germy has prompted Abigail to believe he has an allergy to dirt- and he's done nothing but provide her with more proof of it over time. He's very fragile and has a few hormonal issues that need working on, but is a decent Quidditch player nonetheless.
axel flint
___. Sixth Year Hufflepuff
Useless Ex-Boyfriend
Once seen as one of the few people she could rely on to always be there (and a steady relationship of three years), Axel proved to himself to be no different than any other in their sixth year of schooling. When Abigail needed him most, he chose to stand on the opposite end of the fence and unleash the truth- that he’d always thought her crazy and couldn’t deal with it anymore. Why couldn’t she just be normal? Needless to say- the relationship ended rather quickly after that and she no longer wants anything to do with him.
brooklyn hollywoode
___. Sixth Year Gryffindor Roommate
Abigail met Brooklyn at Pre-Hogwarts Primary and though she tends to be a little more impulsive than the Gryffindor might find sane, she still sees her as a fun person to be around. Brooklyn is someone Abi can count on to cheer her up, someone she can goof and laugh with, and everyone needs someone like that every now and again.
carson hollywoode
___. Sixth Year Hufflepuff
Half-Giant
Carson, to put things simply, is considered to be a very odd boy with a terrible addiction to food and giant genes. He's gone from being a very plump child to tall and thin, but Abigail simply believes that the traits of the giant switched in him with time (horizontal to vertical, basically). Mr. Hollywoode's inability to accept what he is annoys her to no end.
elarinya thanrion
___. Sixth Year Gryffindor
Roommate
Abigail often has a love/hate relationship with one Ellie Thanrion. On the one hand, the girl is very trustworthy whilst on the Quidditch field and is one of few that actually believes in and has met Hubert the dragon. On the other hand however... she also frolics about and trusts the questionable VonHaus family- a group of people whom Abigail has a very hard time trusting. Because of this, it is the Gryffindor's belief that her roomate makes herself susceptible to corruption.
elizabeth sanders
___. Alumni Ravenclaw
Dueling Mentor
Despite being the one responsible for her current dueling knowledge, Lizzy is still thought to be rather confused in many ways. The primary reason for this is her belief in the idea that Ravenclaw is better than Gryffindor- for everyone with a brain knows that isnt true. Gryffindor is better because Gryffindor is brave. Gryffindor is better because Abis dad was there. And Gryffindor is better because Gryffindor is Gryffindor, so a little education in that area is needed for her mentor.
heather holmes
___. Sixth Year Hufflepuff
Player-In-Diguise
Some say Hufflepuffs are innocent creatures, capable of doing little more than baking and planting roses. In Heather's case however- she is the polar opposite of the typical 'sweet Huff' Stereotype. After catching her spying on Leo and his new girl, it became quickly apparent that the blonde held a jealous grudge against him. She likes him, regardless of how often she insists otherwise, yet allows another boy to take on the role of boyfriend in a desperate attempt to get over her broken heart. Abigail has made it her mission to get Heather to openly admit this, yet has failed thus far- somewhat regretting saving the girl's life as a result. Perhaps if she'd let the mind-controlled have their way with her, her idiotic behavior would be subdued.
herbert longbottom
___. Alumni Gryffindor House Mentor
Like with Anna, Abi didn't want a mentor yet was forced into signing her name onto the list anyway. Anna and Herbert were assigned to partner with each other as they looked over a group of mentees (of which Abigail became a part of), and though shed never admit such aloud- she does look up to them to an extent. Herbert is big, brave, and dating Anna so he must be a nice, loving person too. This makes Abi happy though only semi-so as he has yet to tell her what kissing feels like.
madam braelin-vonhaus
___. Hogwarts Healer Ravenclaw
Death Eater Assistant
For a long while, Abigail didn't think much of Madam. She was simply another member of staff, worthy of no more attention than any other adult in the school. Then her daughter exposed herself for what she truly was and Abi sought help in the woman only to receive a less-than-appropriate response. She simply didn't seem to care enough to that her daughter was waltzing down a very dark path. Of course that could only mean that she was involved with the 'questionable' as well and this theory was later proven when she helped a couple of 'her' sort get into the school under the guise of medi-wizards and offer up an entire school-full of children for their biddings.
maeve kaeton
___. Sixth Year Gryffindor
Roommate
Meave is someone Abi has known for quite a long while, so the two are fairly close and hang out every so often at her mothers library when not at school. They can often be found acting out their favorite super hero/villain scenarios.
phaedra wayland
___. Fifth Year Slytherin Dragon Counterpart
Phaedra is one out of very few who shares a liking of dragons with Abigail. She owns some young ones and thus knows and respects the unique qualities they hold. The Gryffindor appreciates this and considers Phae good company to have around when she just wants to chill and relax for a bit.
professor fjord
___. Gryffindor Head of House/Astronomy Professor Gryffindor Sadistic
In the beginning, Fjord was someone Abigail respected. She looked up to her Head of House as someone who shared a similar liking of dragons and cared for their safety. Things drastically changed one day however when the professor opted to take on the role of 'disbelieving woman' over caring staff member. Rather than offering a open mind and listening ear when Abigail warned of future dangers, she instead silenced and bound the blonde, exposing her helplessly to the blood-thirsty clutches of death eaters. Thankfully she managed to get away unscathed, but not before exposing a great weakness to those most evil. Never will Fjord be forgiven for this. All respect for her has been forever lost.
Pre-Hogwarts
discovery of scottie
Grocery shopping was boring. Or, at least, that’s what the five year old Abigail Stancil believed once upon a time. From the day she was born, her mother dragged the blonde’s screaming and crying form through the store's entrance so that she could stock up on the week’s meals. Not for a single second did the woman think about how doing so would impact the sanity of her daughter, nor did she care, and that caused a state of upset to erupt from the blonde.  Convinced that she was a victim of neglect, Abigail wailed each and every time she was interrupted from current endeavors, insisting that she couldn’t go to the store.  She had to stay home and watch the marriage of Mister Speckles and Miss Sparkle because their union was a once in a lifetime event. Was shopping really worth missing the beginning of their new life together?  Mrs. Stancil said yes. Mrs. Stancil ruined her life. Mrs. Stancil wasn’t fair: and that belief continued to thrive until a very ‘special’ shopping day the girl would never forget.
The trip started out much like any other: Abigail sat having a tea party with Mister Scribbles when her mom shouted from the hall “Time to go, dear!” and… she was ignored.
“Cookies, Scribbles?” the small blonde inquired of her bear instead, delicately placing two chocolate chip delights onto his plate. “You must be really hungry. Was talking to Speckles the other day and he said he saw a fox breaking into your ‘frigerator. Gatta put a lock on it so that doesn’t happen again!”
A bang on the door arrived.
“ABIGAIL ROSE STANCIL, put your shoes on this instant. If they’re not on in ten seconds, you’ll not be having any dessert tonight.”
“But mum!”
“NO BUTS.”
Scowling at her mother’s unfairness, Abigail stood and stomped angrily to her shoes, slid them on her feet, and then resumed stomping into the hall with her shoelaces untied because she didn’t know how to tie them. “Scribbles is going to die of hunger” she whined, looking up at the woman with an expression she hoped would get the direness of her message across: eyes were wide and staring, lip was pout outward, and shoulders were slumped in a very pathetic manner. “He’s going to die and it’ll be all your fault.”
“I’m sorry. Let’s go.”
Fifteen minutes later, the small family could be found roaming with a wired cart in hand. Abigail was still upset, her face now so scrunched up that lines appeared on her forehead, but her mother paid no mind as she scanned intently over her list for the first item to purchase. “I want Scribbles” the girl mumbled under her breath as they walked through the produce isle. “I want Scribbles. I want him. I want him. I WANT him!”
“Abigail, why don’t you go get me some bags for these apples?”
Taking a brief break from her shouting to look at her mom once more, the blonde pondered for a second before finally coming to the conclusion that getting bags would be an okay thing to do. At least then she could tear them off the roll and fill the middles up with air like a balloon. That was always fun. “Kay!”
At a full run, young Abigail then dashed speedily away to the roll-y bags so that she could retrieve a few for her mom. Just as she reached them however, she found herself otherwise preoccupied by a rather interesting sight, indeed. Off a few feet to the right was a man looking at cheese and next to him… next to him was a hot pink, yellow spotted dragon. Initially she didn’t quite know how to react to what she was seeing. Dragons weren’t supposed to be in stores, after all. That was just a make-believe story grownups came up with to keep kids out of fun places, but it… it looked real. And the man beside it… was that a control he had in his hand? Was it controlling the dragon? But that was against the law!
“NO!” Abigail cried at the mere idea of anyone being controlled, sprinting forward to confront the mean man. “YOU CAN’T HAVE THAT DRAGON. Bossing is mean and mum said you aren’t supposed to boss people. It’s against the rules. Do you know what happens when you break rules? You get… a spanking.” Staring seriously into his eyes at that, the blonde waited with her arms crossed for him to respond, tapping her foot impatiently whilst doing so.
“…and where is this ‘mom’, little girl?”
“…China.”
“Oh” Looking away thoughtfully at her response, the old man appeared far too cheerful for his liking. His lips were turned up at the corners and then, then he said the worst thing he could possibly ever say. “Guess there’s no one to stop me, then.”
“NO!” Without another word or thought, Abigail slammed her heel hard onto the man’s foot and ordered “RUN, DRAGON. RUN!”. Through the various rows of cereals, soups, and bread she dashed, straining her ears in an attempt to hear any enemy approaches through the sounds of her harsh breathing. And then she stopped just outside a row of cakes, where a green-eyed gaze met hers.
 “It’s okay, Mister. You’re safe now. Wanna come home with me and meet some friends?!” she inquired softly, hoping to not frighten the creature any more than it already was. The dragon huffed and that was all she needed for confirmation. He was going to come home with her and become her absolute best friend ever. There wasn’t a single way in the entire world that her mom would be able to stop that from happening.
Determined to make it true, Abigail quickly began developing a plan within her brain to sneak the dragon into the car without her mother knowing. If only she had her blanket from home, she could hide him under it and sneak him in that way, but… no. It was still on her bed, so she had to find another way. Another way, like… having him hide behind her until they got back. “Kay, so… you’re going to have to be really, really quiet, okay? Then stay behind me and we’ll go to my mom and then we’ll go home. She can’t say no if she doesn’t see you.”
Putting a finger to her lips to ensure her message was understood, Abigail then calmly returned back to her mother’s side.
“Back!”
“Did you get the bags?”
“…bags? OH. I did! And then this mean man stole them!”
A simple eye roll was all that was given to her response, prompting the blonde to smile a wide smile and glance back behind her to ensure her new dragon friend was still there and well. But when she did, he was nowhere to be found. “…dragon?!”
“Dragon what?”
“…nothing.”
Abigail didn’t see the dragon again that day, but she wasn’t discouraged. From then on, when her mother called for them to go on a grocery run she came sprinting out of her room bursting with excitement. For any opportunity to find the dragon was welcomed. Grocery shopping was boring no longer.
___. Stop and Stare Landon Reynolds
Every day at recess, the girl took part in the same routine. With Ari still on homebound she was left to wander the park by herself, ignoring the less important activities of hop-scotch and tag to instead carefully approach the large trees and bushes and locate every dragon she could. “Hello?” she’d whisper as she stuck her head smack-dab in the center of a floral shrub. “Is anyone in there? Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. Just here to help…”
“You did! I wouldn’t have bad thoughts if it weren’t for you going and kidnapping me and then STEALING. Now give me my other wand back or I’ll…” voice fading off, Abi looked about the room for a moment before leaping forward and grabbing up the other wand offered to her. “Or I’ll conjure the zombies and demand they eat you whole.” Flicking the wood with her words one of the last things young Abigail expected to have happen was for Scottie, her dragon best friend, to appear in front of her. But that’s just what he did.
___. Life is Unfair Ares Stancil
Sliding a hand down the side of her jeans to ensure the card was still firmly secured in her pocket, Abi smirked when she felt a slight bulge and then held her arms out so that her new school robe’s sleeves could be properly measured. “Twenty five” she then piped at yet another complaint via her brother. “And will you shush about it already? Your whining’s not gunna change anything, you know. Crybaby.”
the sorting
When a fellow first year inquired ‘who would be so mean to a train full of kids’, Abigail quickly knew the answer. She’d known it from the time she was a young infant, for even since then she’d heard various tales of the battles both good and bad faced. Many books found in her mother’s library spoke of such: how ever so slowly once-innocent beings could stumble and fall into the dark, how those teased most were often the ones to save their oppressors, and how the only thing separating the two were decisions made. Those who’d attacked the train a year prior, who’d nearly caused herself to miss her first year of magical schooling, had fallen. Their choices led them astray, causing a rippling effect to occur which affected not only them, but herself as well.
But she’d promised her mother she wouldn’t let them hurt her. Perhaps they could physically, their strength undoubtedly at a higher level than her own, but mentally she’d always have them beat. Never would she be broken: and that she knew for certain.
This fact is what prompted the eleven year old to behave on the infamous, and apparently dangerous, Hogwarts Express as she had. Taking on a role not too far off from that of hardworking Aurors, Abi marched into her compartment only after scanning the place for questionable behavior and then proceeded to launch into a full-out explanation of just exactly what types of individuals they should watch out for. “Lots of people would hurt kids” she explained, “Think about it. If we’re hurt, then our mums and dads would be hurt too, right? So if they hurt enough… they’d get a reaction.” Nodding seriously at that, the girl leaned forward and dropped her voice to a whisper, “I bet it’s a reaction they’re looking for. So we can’t let them hurt us. We’ve gatta fight back. Somehow…”
Slumping back into her seat then, Abigail looked out her window and got lost in thought as the surrounding scenery blurred past. With her limited knowledge in the area of magic, there were really only a few things she could do if ever faced with a real villain. She could always call the dragons to her, of course. There had to of been at least a couple on Hogwarts grounds, hiding within the surrounding trees and living out their lives while the nearby students roamed unaware of them. If she could find them… gain their trust before any others discovered what they were, she could build herself an invisible army against all bad things.
Then there were the friends she’d make; those peers sitting next to her now. Each one of them had the potential to do something useful, something that would help in defending what was right. She’d just have to get to know them first; and the only way to do that was to keep in touch once split up and sent off to their individual houses… so long as they made it to the school in one piece.
Once the train finally came to a stop, Abi turned and looked at the lot of them. “Guys” she said sternly, “Stay here for a second, alright? We don’t know if this is really our stop, see. It could be a trap… so let me go out first. I’ll check to make sure everything’s okay and then shout the secret word. That’s… CRUPS. Alright? See you soon… I hope.”
Standing to look outside the door, the soon-to-be first year first peeked to the right, then left, and then stepped out into the train corridor that was rapidly filling with eager fellow students. “Watch out! I’ve lost my wand and can’t find it! Where could it be? This way? EXCUSE ME.” Opting to continue with her previous ploy, Abigail ensured that her wand was securely placed where no one could see it as she scampered throughout the express. “I… I can’t find it” she began to whine as the seconds ticked by, blinking her eyes rapidly until they began to water, “It’s nowhere. I’m gunna fail school. What am I gunna do. BROOKLYYYYYYYYYYYYN! CRUPS!” Increasing her speed to a full-sprint, Abigail ran back to her compartment as fast as she was able, swung open its door and then… smiled. “All clear! READY TO GO?”
Moments later the group could be found starting to line-up outside a group of boats; yet young Abi wasn’t interested in them in the slightest. Rather her eyes instantly drifted off to the older students as they themselves marched over to a row of horseless carriages. “...why are they splitting us up?” she whispered under her breath at the sight, nudging the person closest to her. “That… doesn’t make any sense. We’re all going to the same place, right? I’ve not been told about anything different. I… I don’t like this, guys. Think I’m gunna take those instead. Stay if you want, but… I’m going.”
Turning determinedly away, Abigail quickly slipped away from the rest of her first year class and crept into the group of older peers, standing up as tall as she was able in an attempt to blend in with them. And then forward she inched, closer to the carriages… then closer… and then: “PROFESSOR, LOOK WHERE SHE’S GOING!
The very instant the voice was heard Abi froze where she stood, mind reeling in an attempt to search for what to do next. What would an auror do… would they…? “Butbutbut” the eleven year old stuttered, once again summoning a group of false tears as she turned around, “I… I… l-lost m-m-m-my cat and I c-can’t find her anywhere. I j-just wanna find her. What i-if she gets hurt?” Pulling at heart strings: it always worked and then was no different. The professor frowned when she looked at him and then pat her on the shoulder. “Don’t worry, we’ll find your cat. But for now you need to get in line over there.”
“K-kay.”
Sniffling for extra measure, Abigail forced herself to turn around and rejoin her peers- but she didn’t do so without giving the one who’d given her away a good, hard stare. Only after did the girl stubbornly enter one of the unfilled boats, ensuring as she did so that said person was in with her. And then they were on their way, crossing the water in relative silence up until… “IS THAT A DRAGON? MOVE OVER, I WANNA SEE HIM!”
And overboard the fail of life was forcefully shoved.
“…I think he might be hungry. Might wanna get back in the boat before it sees you, because you see. Dragons will eat humans if they’re hungry enough. And… he really, really looks bad.”
The remainder of the trip went by in relative silence, aside from a few useless complaints, and when they finally arrived at the school Abi couldn’t help but look upward and grin widely at the sight before her. For the school: it was SO MUCH BIGGER than she’d imagined it to be. It’s window’s lights reflected off the water and if she leaned over just enough she could see hints of a forest behind the castle walls. Perhaps there were more dragons there? She’d have to see later, but first there was another matter to attend to.
Sorting.
The lecture section of the ordeal Abigail wasn’t too thrilled by, opting to stare at the castle walls surrounding her rather than listen, but once they were brought into the great hall her eyes were roaming in every such direction. It was so wicked, and she was getting the chance to see it before her brother. Little Ari Stancil was probably in bed by then, still trapped under the household rules with bed times and food restrictions, but her? She was there… twenty five minutes of great importance brought her there before him. And it felt great.
“Bet the hat’s inspecting their brains” she piped as she waited her turn, watching on as student after student stepped forward to be sorted out. “It’s sorting out which are good and which aren’t, see. And I bet that one gets rejected. She looks like a rotten egg.”
Perhaps that was true or perhaps it wasn’t, but regardless before long she was soon walking to the front after a very loud calling of “STANCIL, ABIGAIL!” rang through the hall.
“I’m here” Abi exclaimed, planting herself on a wooden stole as a professor sat the hat on her head. “But… wait! Is the hat alive or is that just magic making it talk? Seems too smart to just be charmed. MISTER HAT, can you hear me? I should’ve invited you to my birthday. It was yesterday you know, and Ari… he’s always such a butt. How about you guys switch places? Then you can live with me… and he can sit on a shelf.”
I also admire Babbity Rabbity, a bowler hat I once knew claimed to have known her for real, but I can't say I believed him. Now...where to put you. My dear, it seems as though Godric, Helga, Rowena and Salazar are all requesting that you join them. You're honest, just and cunning, but also brave and adventurous. Merlin, I have my work cut out for me. Not Ravenclaw, you say? You certainly have the imagination for Rowena's house, but alright. I can see that you prize cunning and loyalty as well, but the way that you see the world reminds me of how Godric saw it - good and evil with no in-between. Yes, I think you should be off to GRYFFINDOR!
first year
role-plays
___. Into the lion's den Brooklyn Hollywoode, Saoirse Leann Whelan, Maeve Keaton
When cheering erupted throughout the room and red-robed students turned to wave her over, all worry instantly disappeared. Amongst the taller lions stood Maeve and Brooklyn, two friends shed grown to be rather close to over the past several months, prompting the newly sorted first year to grin widely at them as she slid off the stool and scampered over. WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE DID IT! Abigail exclaimed at the top of her lungs, bouncing up on the balls of her feet as the three celebrated their reunion.
___. When the time is right and the night is bright Herbert Longbottom, Anna Wolff
Oh right the girl groaned after reading over the words, stature immediately slumping where she stood. Apparently the mentor people wanted to meet her outside, but shed not seen them when shed come in just moments before. Maybe they were too small to see? Goblins, perhaps? Or there was also a possibility that they had the skill to go invisible and wanted to trick her...
___. Maybe friends aren't so bad? Katerina Gretzky
Ignoring the dirty looks she received, Abi quickly dashed into the safety of her tent and plopped herself down beside a fellow classmate. A Ravenclaw classmate, but she figured shed be safer there than next to a fellow Gryffindor for the time being. At least with her she could pretend to be an innocent study bug and the like. Hi the first year piped then, glancing over at the girl, You remember what they were teaching us in flying, right? With the up and the leaning at what speed do you think one would have to be to flip over and not fall down?
___. Finding the Inner Superhero Astaldarion Thanrion
SOMEONE BE MY PARTNER NOW! I NEED TO DO THIS! Abi cried out as she dashed away and began her search for a worthy opponent. She needed someone right, who wasnt a coward and would actually send spells back at her without being a butt. Someone like that boy shed seen in Quidditch tryouts? Yessss.
___. Heart of the Dragon Elarinya Thanrion, Adora Crawford
You dont know that. People can charm boulders to float, cant they? And explode them to pieces? If they can do that to solid rock they can do it to dragons too, Ellie. Plus, these are death eaters were talking about. Theyre not like normal people. As if anyone needed reminding of that fact. Death eaters were bad and did bad things, illegal things that had the potential to be worse than even ones absolute worst nightmares. They could make eyes bleed and brains drip through ears like melted pudding ice cream and if they could do that, then they could control a dragon. There wasnt a single doubt in her mind of the fact. We have to find Hubert before they really hurt him.
___. I Choose You Nia Purcell
Excuse me, sir? Abi inquired, I think someone mightve put a sign on your back. I saw it on the way in here let me see if its still there Leaning in then, the first year skillfully wrapped her arms around the boy in a fashion that was a little too intimate to just be checking for a paper prank, but that was okay because she was on a mission. A mission to prove that hugging boys did not make babies. Nope! Its gone. But would you mind if I asked you uhh well. Have you ever had a baby?
___. Forbidden Makes Me Wonder What You See Devon Exira
It'd been peacefully sitting in the Adult Romance section when the man on the front cover caught her attention. She figured his shirt was unbuttoned because it was hot outside in his scene, but then that didnt make any sense because the title was Two Days in February and February was cold. Why would anyone walk around with an unbuttoned shirt in February? Abigail didnt know. Shed borrowed the book to find out, yet sadly never got the proper opportunity to read it.Until now.
Second year
role-plays
___. Two in a Million Ares Stancil
Ares left his brain behind…
The whispered statement was aimed conveniently in the direction of her sibling as Abi shifted to tug her trunk in closer to her. “I do! Can we go now? I have to introduce Ari to Anna, because she’s one of my best friends and a prefect, too. She even made me her helper! I turn in the bad people and she gives them slips in turn. It’s a team effort.” The lie fell so easily from her lips that the blonde too even believed it then, standing tall as she could. “She probably needs help now too. I need to go, dad. Mum, I do. This is a very important business.”
___. Dont Cha Come Around: Im Fearless Ethan Castleberry
It would be so easy now for a prefect to come creeping around the corner and what was the point of doing anything if all it led to was a spot in detention? Attention? Rolling her eyes at the thought, Abi casually slipped her hand into her pocket and withdrew the permission note she’d concocted , dangling it in the air in front of her. “I have permission from Anna to go to the forest this afternoon. And unless you have a good reason for doing… that” she gestured toward the poor suit of armor, “well… I wouldn’t want to be you later, that’s for sure.”
___. Bet the Black Comes in Red Janus J. Teague
After sneaking into the boys’ dormitories (and waving sweetly at its occupants), Abi was free to leave her common room a few moments later dressed in comfy cozy pants. They had to be rolled up a bit due to his slight height advantage, but that was just fine. Regardless they did their job of keeping her legs free of frost-bite as she headed to the great hall for a bite to eat. Half-starved and in need of refreshment before being forced back into practice for the looming dueling tournament, the girl marched her way downstairs, entered inside the space and then… landed her eyes on a rather ‘suspicious’ sight.
___. The Time Has Come Elarinya Thanrion
Those four words continued to repeat over and over in her mind even as Abigail stepped out of the castle and began heading for the familiar lakefront. She’d told both Hubert and Ellie to meet her there, the dragon with an extra urging to ‘please trust her’, so she hoped that both would be stood waiting and ready for their grand introduction. And wasn’t disappointed, for the most part, when she came into view of the water. Small waves crashing against the shore showed signs that the least visible of her friends was present and… a shout via the lips of the other proved that she too was there. Rolling her eyes at the sound of her housemate’s voice, the blonde approached slowly and then stopped to cross her arms in annoyance. “You’re going to attract them again, you know. Quiet down.”
___. ALL HAIL QUEEN MABIGAIL Maeve Keaton
“So what’s our first action as queens going to be, your highness?” she eagerly inquired of her partner, “because I think… I think it should be something big. Something people will notice like… changing the rules so their more fair. Can think of a few right now that could use a bit of tweaking, can’t you?”
role-plays
___. Forget Yesterday, We'll Make the Great Escape Axel Flint
Maybe she could find Ellie... or Nia or even… “AXEL.” With her scream, Bernard slipped from his owner’s arms and began running down the other end of the corridor, but Abi paid no mind. Before long she was joining him, only instead of continuing to the edge of the prefect’s compartment she stopped at the boy, wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips to his.
“You won’t even believe what happened to me this summer” the girl gasped as she pulled away. “I almost died.”
___. You Light My World On Fire Axel Flint
When one was known by the majority of Hogwarts pupils as ‘insane’, it was rather difficult to locate an individual, much less multiple, willing to provide companionship. Stupidity ran rampant throughout the corridors, spreading like wildfire and tainting minds until few bearable peers remained, so when an event such as a Valentine Ball was created and endless amounts of hormone-filled, narrow-minded, death eater following teenagers were released to wreak their havoc upon the world… a certain fourteen year old was left to stand in front of her bathroom mirror alone, staring at the long, golden curls she’d spent half an hour on, pondering whether or not it was even worth it to go at all.
___. Time to Burn Madam Braelin-VonHaus
Never before had the hospital wing taken on such an eerie feel as it did when she approached the entrance just a few moments later. It almost seemed as if an army was awaiting her just on the other side of the threshold, armed and ready to attack the very instant she walked past. Abi cared not however, pressing forward despite the dangers, bypassing the front desk entirely, and attacking the problem head on. Or… almost, at least.
“Miss VonHaus! Miss VonHaus! Your daughter’s about to kill someone!”
Fifth Year
role-plays
___. Getting Old is Hard to Do Anna Wolff
ANNA I'M CAPTAINING AND GETTING OLD. HALP.
___. Turn It Up Astaldarion Thanrion
“You know why I’m here” the blonde said, closing the distance between them in three long strides. “And neither of us is leaving until you tell me what’s going on.” To emphasize this further, she placed herself between him and his only exit. Even if he managed to somehow temporarily conquer his fear, he’d have to get through her first. “Nia’s a wreck and you- you’ve been more distracted than a crup with a pile of food in front of it. What happened? Say nothing and the mud’ll be hitting you next time. And your bed… and, oh, maybe that poster, too.
___. When the One's Who Run the Fire House Are the One's Who Start the Fire Edmund Caverly, Duncan Cunningham, Madam Braelin-VonHaus, Professor Fjord, AND A WHOLE LATTA OTHERS.
....screenings? That was a very clever tale. More likely she was going to fool innocent children into the idea they were merely being screened, lure them into the Hospital Wing by themselves, and then transform their minds into evil-following drones.And she’d not go. Not quietly. They could suspend her if they wished. “Liar”
___. Arm Yourself Because No One Here Will Save You  Edmund Caverly, Duncan Cunningham, Madam Braelin-VonHaus,  AND A WHOLE LATTA OTHERS.
 ♥  A note was attached to the ropes.One which read: ‘Abigail Stancil. Fifth Year Gryffindor.  Do not open… ever.’ The words said to stay away, yet the blonde knew it’d do the opposite. It was all part of a scheme to turn her into a target; made worse when she was once again picked up and dragged down to the hospital like a pathetic, little child. She attempted to worm her way out of Fjord’s grasp, wiggled and squirmed and kicked with every ounce of power she had within her, but it made little difference. Somehow the woman still managed to make it down in one piece and place her in front of one of the questionable lot.
And it was then that Abigail did the only thing a tied and silenced fifteen year old girl could do- she spit at them.
 ___ Sometimes I Feel I Should Go Play with the Thunder Alexandria Braelin-VonHaus
She had no physical proof that AJ and her mother were behind it all, but the fact that a medical condition was being used as a ploy was suspicious enough to draw conclusions. They had to be involved somehow, someway, and as such would be treated just as any other villain would. Hands clutching themselves into fists, Abigail closed the distance between them quickly. Hesitation would be disastrous now- she had to act. And it was with that thought that the blonde lifted her arm and brought her fist directly into the Ravenclaw’s jaw.
Save the Wounded!  A whole latta kids~
“There were men. They came here once and- her.” Turning her head, Abi glared in the direction VonHaus had been. “She brought them and said they were going to scan for Spattergroit, but that’s not what they did. I know it’s not, because they said they’d put me in quarantine for no reason but I couldn’t check for sure because Fjord tied me up. But they must’ve done something because now there’s this. They’re using mind control. I know it. That must be it.”
With every word, her voice rose higher, until it rang over those of her peers. And then Abigail said the one thing she knew for absolute certain.
“She started everything.”
Turning away before anything more could be said, the blonde finished up the rest of her packing and then marched out the room. "Dad, do you know where Becky is? I wanted to give her to my new mentee. Y'know, for comfort "Isnt she in the attic?" "oh yeah. Thanks daddy!" A quick trip to the attic ensued, followed shortly after by a side-trip to the cabinet holding the Stancil potion stores. For if they wouldnt listen to her, they would someone else; and she'd be damned if she let evil win out so easily.
___. I Just Work Here, So Don't Look At Me Madam Braelin-VonHaus, Professor Fjord,  Professor Figg
Hopping down the staircase two at a time, Abi rushed to the staff room as fast as she was able and pressed in, not even bothering to knock on the door beforehand. “I don’t care I’m not supposed to be here, you people have to listen to me. Flamel. Is. A. Death. Eater.” And then she realized who it was who actually stood before her. Was that VonHaus? Drat.
___. I May Be  A Problem Child, But You've Been Grounded For Life Leslie Dahlberg
“We have to hurry” Abigail urged as she tugged Leslie down the corridor, hand secured tightly around the girl’s wrist. “If someone catches us… I don’t even want to think about it. This way.” The pair continued navigating down the hall then, stopping not until they reached the office of Figg, a man severely inept in the area of vigilance. “You have your wand, right? Mine’s been acting out.” Withdrawing her own regardless, she stepped up to the door and tapped three times, hoping beyond all hopes she’d not hear a response. And none came. “Come on.”
___. You Know My Weakness, That's Why I'm Sleepless Alexandria Braelin-VonHaus
When he’d gone missing in the past she’d normally be able to re-locate him not long after, roaming about in the main common room or staircase whilst sending small puffs of fire toward passerby sleeves. That wasn’t the case now however; common room was clear, stair was clear, corridors were clear. Bernard was gone.
___. Ding Dong, the Death Eater's Dead! IMPORTANT Daily Prophet Article
At long last, the Daily Prophet has heard the official news: Duncan Cunningham, the Death Eater arrested and suspected of tampering with the sanity of students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, was found dead several yards from his cell last month. (Abigail was right? Blasphemy!)
___. Detention: Abigail Stancil Axel Flint, Professor Llwyd
The emotions she felt then were stronger than any before. They over-powered her, controlled every movement of every action until the individual who caused them to sprout ran from the room like the coward he was. It took a good minute after his departure even for Abigail to realize he’d gone and put a hold on her next round of ammo; and then her arms dropped to her sides, the pan that’d been risen just seconds before falling to the floor with a clatter. “I hate you
___. Maybe You're the Death Eater Axel Flint
“Thank you sir” she deadpanned when the speech finally came to its end and Axel turned to leave. The fit came and left relatively quickly and that she truly was thankful for, but the mess of food left behind kept her attention for a few moments longer. For a good long while she simply stood there in silence and stared at it, broken bits and all. Then she kicked one of the larger pieces, watched it slam against the neighboring wall, and smiled. “So long bright eyes.”
___. So What's Your Name, New Kid In School Olwen Hier, Dante Denton, Chiron Drakon, Professor Grimsby, Professor Figg
For a good few seconds Abigail allowed the stream of fire to lick at the pane of the compartment door.  Her gaze remained trained on the reflection in the glass, the orange and yellow flames slinking across it as they met their desired target, and briefly she wondered just how long the child inside would take to find a way out. If she ever did. That was the problem with people now. They didn’t think for themselves, downright refused to see anything that wasn’t outright explained by another. And if they continued to do so just maybe they deserved whatever followed; including being forever trapped between a rock and a hard place. There was no use trying to save people who wouldn’t listen.
