Classroom Safe Room

Professor Fjord

When Kirsi made sure that her students were safely protected in the Common Room, she decided to utilize a classroom for a protection space as well. She enchanted the door with the same protections that she gave the Gryffindor Common Room, so that students could enter into safety but the werewolves would not be able to enter.

After Transfiguring the desks and chairs in the classroom to comfortable chairs and couches, she conjured warm blankets for those who needed them. Then, she Transfigured classroom materials into soft pillows and stuffed animals that were not dogs, something that students could hold. Kirsi figured that would be enough material for anyone who needed to be in a safe room until they could get proper attention.

With that, Kirsi set off to grab students to pull into the safe room.

"You, there, get in that room right now. The castle is under attack." She said to the next passing student. "There's no time to dawdle, this is a true emergency. MOVE BEHIND THE DOOR NOW!"

As she was walking to her next destination, Kirsi worried extensively about @Mason FlukeHer heart hoped that her son was safe and okay, far away from the attacks. Oh, Mason. Please be safe.

-----------

Welcome to the Classroom Safe Room. There are protections here against the werewolves, you will be safe. The room is filled with chairs, sofas, non-dog related stuffed animals/pillows and warm blankets. Kirsi will be delivering students here from time to time, and popping in to check up on things.

Salomé Schiferli

Salomé watched as Ruth hurried off and turned her attention back to an unconscious @Harmony Granger-Weasley. Now she didn't know what to really do. When Ruth was there it seemed like there was a responsible adult, but Salomé knew she had things to do, and she was working. Still, being here with her friend unconscious was difficult.

They were alone, but it was more relaxed in a way. There was a sofa, and stuffed animals, and stuffed animals, and blankets. It was just her and Harmony for now, and Salomé wished that someone would come, because she didn't know what to do at this point. So, she did something uncharacteristically out of character. She grabbed a few stuffed animals and placed them around Harmony as softly as she could making sure not to hurt her friend. She also covered her with a blanket. In return, Salomé waited for someone to come, which was mildly annoying. The more time that passed, the more annoyed she got.

Harmony Granger-Weasley

A few minutes after the girls were delivered to the classroom, Harmony regained consciousness. The pain returned. A deep, aching, throbbing pain, like nothing she ever experienced before. Down both her arms, head and back. Memory of what happened just a few moments ago came back, landing like a ton of bricks. Werewolf. She forced herself to blink awake. How long was I out for? Where am I? She looked down at her arms, and realized she couldn't move them from their positions. It appeared that they were bandaged. By who? Someone saved my life.

Harmony desired to get up and sit on one of the comfy looking recliners that she could see, but the situation was not right for that. She imagined that it would hurt her arms more to lay on an uneven surface. Moving her head around, she saw that there were pillows and stuffed animals surrounding her. She was covered with a blanket, and someone was waiting with her. Thank Merlin someone is here. I don't have to be alone.

"Th..Thank you." She muttered through the pain. It was all she could muster at that moment, as she was still in a daze from the slumber.

Then, realization hit her again.

Merlin. A BLOODY WEREWOLF BIT ME!  Her eyes welled up with tears, which began falling down her cheeks and evolved into more sobs. What in the world am I going to do now?

Through the sobs, Harmony knew she wanted one thing more than anything else in the world at that moment. But, he was far away. The last time she wrote him, about a week ago, he was preparing to leave on an adventure to some forested place. Following another lead for The Quibbler. He was working at that moment. What if he didn't get the message? What if he couldn't get to her? She knew Gran would get the message. Obviously help was on the way. Gran and Grandpa would be there soon, that would provide some comfort, but not enough. Harmony really just wanted a giant hug from her Da. She wanted him to tell her everything would be alright, like he did when she was little and scared of the monsters under her bed.

She gathered her strength to speak again.

"Is...Is help coming soon?"

Salomé Schiferli

Salomé was practically seething. Surely making them wait this long wasn't professional at all. While she didn't blame @Ruth Champlin, in fact she quite admired her, she didn't understand why the Hogwarts staff would leave a room empty. Bloody toys weren't going to change the fact that they saw what they saw. In fact, Salomé was so on edge she was currently clutching a stuffed kiwi, and squeezing the thing by the neck, not even realizing she was doing it, just to relieve the stress coursing through her body.

She wasn't sure how long she sat there squeezing the poor stuffed animal when she finally realized Harmony was waking up.

Salomé sat up straight, her body already tense and rigid she made her way over to the Gryffindor. "You're welcome." Salomé said softly, unsure of what to do. She has never been the comforting type. This is why she needs an adult, why did all of them have to play hero? Couldn't they see they needed here?!

Then Harmony started crying, and Salomé felt panicked. She wasn't good at this. Bloody hell she wasn't good at this. Coming back to Hogwarts meant her life would go back to normal, not yet worse! She not the right person for this! Salomé stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do.

Should she awkwardly pat her on the back? Probably not. Salomé wasn't sure what the wolf did, but last thing she needed to do was press into her wounds. Why was she having such a hard time with this? She felt ice cold. Shifting, Salomé finally spoke. "You're going to be okay, Harmony." She said, but she didn't even sound convinced. She was bloody horrible at this.

Harmony's next question brought back her annoyance. She wanted to start ranting that there has been no one in her other than the bloody stuffed animals, and that did nothing!! She almost opened her mouth to complain about the fact that no one has come when she realized the only person it would benefit was her.

"Soon." Salomé said thickly, hating that she was lying. She had no idea when someone was coming. "They'll be here soon. You actually missed our daring rescue. We had our own Auror and everything."

Anderson Potter

Continued from here.

He did his best not to falter as they walked. He didn't want the auror to put him on a stretcher. He could do it alone. He was injured but not as bad as the others. He could help, even though she wouldn't let him help. It didn't matter, really, but it mattered to him. He didn't want to feel useless. But he already did feel useless. He had failed to protect Avery and Aggie. It was his fault that they hadn't gotten out of the Great Hall to safety. It was his fault that they were in the their current situation. If only he had been able to do more. He should have hurried them along. He should have made them go in front of him. There were so many better choices he could have made.

They made it to the safe zone and he looked around. "Harmony!" he said, staggering over to @Harmony Granger-Weasley's side. "Are you okay?" he asked her, fussing with her hair. "Help is coming. Don't worry!" he said. "You're going to be fine. We're all going to be fine." He wasn't sure if what he was saying was true but he was going with it. He wanted them all to be in good spirits. He wanted them all to believe that everything would work out for the best. He could convince them all, right?

But could he convince himself?

Sonny brushed the thought away and nudged the cots of Harmony and Avery together, knowing it would make them feel better. He reached down with his good arm and put their hands in one another's. "See? We've already been reunited. Things are looking up!" He gave a nod, trying to reassure them all, and then took a seat in a random chair before his knees buckled beneath him. He was right next to Aggie and he leaned over to brush his hand across her cheek. "It will be okay."

Not too much later, reinforcements fetched them to go back to the Great Hall to be healed. He didn't like the prospect of returning to that place so soon but he knew they had to do it. If they were going to survive, they needed to be healed. "Everything is coming together," he said to the group. "Just a little bit longer and we'll be able to hug and rejoice that we made it." And hopefully the rest of the family would go to visit them and they'd be happy once more. Hopefully.

Aggie Price

Aggie had put her wand away, as the auror had instructed, realizing how much using magic would have drained Sonny even more as the auror spoke.  Her words, however, sent a chill through Aggie's body at the thought those werewolves could still be out there.  Or worse, would they return in the middle of the healers working?  She shut her eyes tight to try to wipe out those thoughts.  The mention of Harry Potter's name was a two edged sword for Aggie.  She knew he'd not let anyone or anything hurt any student but she had to answer to him for the failure to keep two of his family safe, herself.

She shut her eyes as the auror did some magic and she felt herself lying on something other than the floor.  Just a moment later, Aggie could feel the floating sensation of being levitated and she kept her eyes closed as the group made the trip to a safe zone.  She was not sure she wanted to see what it looked like in the Great Hall yet.

Once there, Aggie could hear Sonny reassuring another family member and settling his sister and their cousin together.  She felt his hand take hers and opened her eyes, managing to smile at him as they sat there and waited to be taken to see a healer.

Avery Potter

With her stuffed kneazle in her arms, Avery found herself being taken to a place in which the auror had called safe. Avery had no idea whether any place in Hogwarts would now be that. She wanted nothing more then to tell her parents that she wanted to stay at home forever. At least at home, she knew that she would be protected from everything around her.

Hogwarts had once been her second home – now it felt more like a place in which she would remain tortured by the events of tonight. Seeing Harmony caused her to cry out, as she wondered whether her cousin was okay. She had been super worried the moment she had seen her being drug away.

Leaning back, Avery tried to stop her tears, as she wondered whether tonight was just a bad dream.
