The Dangers of fun

Maelys St. Claire

It would figure the Hogwarts students were trouble. Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang got a bad name, but they weren’t the type to curse someone with their back turned. Not usually at least.

What seemed to take forever, Maelys was tired of waiting. "We are going." A boy she didn't know,  @Altair Shafiq grabbed @Idina Iordanau, and 'Maelys grabbed @Lucie Nezvykly, and ignored the rest. The girl would die before they came up with a decision.

She had no idea where they were going, so she followed the boy to the hospital wing. When they entered, Maelys called out. "We need a nurse, now."

Lucie Nezvykly

Lucie shrugged off Mae's grip.

"I am coming," she said.  "I do not want her to die either, you know."

She held the box containing the drinking game before her - they did not need the Hogwarts students rifling through it and hurting themselves even more - and Asen's notes were stashed in her pocket.

Idina Iordanau

Idina wrapped her arms around @Altair Shafiq's neck, just relieved to be out of the Great Hall finally. There was less noise in the corridor, and even less in the Hospital Wing. No more waterfalls.

One day she might get to be the one escorting someone to the hospital wing, or at least walk up there on her own two feet. The closest she had come was when she'd had the fairy wings removed in her third year, but even those hadn't let her feet touch the ground all that often.

For now, though, the fifth year decided it was best to just let things happen as they would. "I'm an idiot, aren't I?"

Glancing over at Lucie, Maelys wrinkled her nose. "Well I 'ad to make sure you were coming. I do not trust zee ones from 'Oggywarts fart'zer zan I can t'row zem." She admitted, after what she witnessed. A part of her wondered if she should say something, but she was keeping that to herself for now.

Idina was in a bed now, and when she spoke, Maelys snorted. "Oui. You are an eediot." She agreed. "Zat was not a smart zing to do. Eet looks like you drank bot' zee poisons, but I am sure you will be fine." That was a lie, but panicking could make it worse.

Lucie Nezvykly

Lucie smiled.  She did not have many friends at Durmstrang.  Not proper friends like the others had.  But she and Maelys were united in their dislike of the Hogwarts students.

"Acting without thinking was stupid," she allowed, "but you have learned from it.  Or you would not call yourself an idiot."

Smiling back at Lucie, Maelys glanced back at Idina when she noticed the form. The girl grabbed it, seeing no one else grabbed it. "S'e ees rig't." She agreed, sitting down, and filling it out.

 OOC Form:

Patient Name, House & Year: India I think, she has green robes and a badge
Gender: Female
Blood Type:  No idea
Allergies, if any: Poisons. She's allergic to poison

What VH Year & Term/Week does this RP take place:
VH37, Term 1 week 4
Time of Day:  After Curfew
Link to Incident Thread: Here

IC Form:

Reason for Visit: Well... it was either this or letting her die, and since the Hogwarts students were doing that, we stepped in. She needs to see a medic, she drank something and now she isn't doing too good, she drank at least two different poisons.. I think, but not three, thank goodness!

Damage Location: How can I be specific when it's all over?

Damage Type: Poisons

Other:  She may need some help with impulse control. While I am impulsive, I also know better than to do what she did, so you might want to look into that, and make sure she doesn't die, because I guess that can be a possibility...

Altair Shafiq

Idiot did not even begin to describe Idina Iodinau. Al could practically spit with how angry he was. He had purposefully taken patrol tonight so he could avoid this party. He had known this party was happening and he didn't want to spend any time with these delegates. They were robbing him of his Quidditch season. So avoiding them acting fun was definitely off.

"Why would you just drink things someone else gives you. That's like party rule number one." Al huffed as he let put all his weight on his neck. "She better have learned something." He quickly sniped at @Lucie Nezvykly.

Kermit Princeley

Kermit had agreed to pull a duty on the night of after party. Why? The truth was he was feeling a little stupid that he hadn’t entered the tournament after all. He now reregetted that decision and instead wanted to focus on keeping himself busy. With quidditch being cancelled it meant that he was able to focus on his position within the hospital wing. He was able to focus on his internship with Qin, and to learn whatever he could to pass his NEWTs at the end of the year.

He had been writing up his last report when he heard a commotion within the wing waiting room area. Kermit looked up to see if @Miss Luneswas there, before he wondered into the room. He rose a single eyebrow when he spotted the three females. The only one his recognised - one of the slytherin prefects who had tried to murder the first years - looked pretty out of everything at that moment.

“So... who wants to tell me what in Merlin’s name happpened here?”

OOC - This is a hospital wing assistance post. Kermit will help Miss Lunes, and try not to poison anyone further

Some entered, and they did NOT look like a medical nurse. Blue eyes narrowed. He was a student as well. What was he going to do? Maelys looked over at Idina and Al, and back at the other boy. "Obviously s'e ees poisoned." Maelys told him all knowingly, because it seemed obvious to her.

"Eet is all written down. I believe she 'ad two different poisons and Lucie 'as the list of poisons. You are no zee one 'elping, are you? I believe des ees out of your level of expertise."

Waterfaaaaaaaalllllssss...

SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Idina covered her ears to block out the noise. The Hospital Wing wasn't supposed to be this noisy. Merlin's beard, she needed some ibuprofen and a friendlier face than Very Angry Al™. Rolling over onto her side and trying to ignore what was becoming full-fledged nausea, the Slytherin ran through a full scenario in which she wasn't a witch and was instead a world famous surfing champion, as mundane as could be.

And then she threw up on someone's shoes.

Lucie Nezvykly

Lucie wasn't one of those girls who had a whole wardrobe of shoes.  She had one practical pair (boots, leather, steel capped) and one nice pair.  Since it had been a party, and she had underestimated the obnoxiousness and stupidity of the Hogwarts contingent, she had elected to wear the nice ones tonight.

She really regretted that choice as the small girl, whose name she now knew was Idina, rolled to the side and evacuated her stomach.

Lucie scrunched her nose at the smell.  At least she hadn't evacuated anything else yet.

"The girl that Asen took back to the ship," she said to the other two.  "If you know which number she drank, I can tell you what the poisons are."

Miss Lunes

There was a kerflufle erupting in the Wing and Greta was late due to the fuzzy purple muffling earmuffs that she had been wearing. The brewing process of one of her favorite varieties of Inflammation-Reducing Elixir involved this very irritable high-pitched noise when it came to a boil, a sound that was not unfortunately entirely cancelled out by the fashionable winter accessory.

The panicked sounds of teenagers somehow were reduced almost entirely. She hoped the manufacturers knew of the lucrative advertising possibilities.

With the earmuffs around her neck, Greta emerged into a troubling scene right when one girl spewed all over the floor. Immediately, the Healer felt a sympathetic response coming up in her own esophagus and braced a firm hand on Kermit’s shoulder while she tried to revert the process.

The moment blessedly passed.

“So,” Greta declared slowly after a long exhale. “Did someone say poison?

Maelys watched as Idina puked, and she made a face. "Ew." She said softly, taking a step back from the girl. "Ohhh.. Zat ees 'orrible luck." She said to @Lucie Nezvykly, glad it wasn't her shoes that were thrown up on. She probably would have cried.

Time passed, and Maelys really hoped Idina didn't get worse. Finally an adult appeared, and Maelys nodded her head. "Yes. Poison. I zink she 'ad two different kinds." She admitted, wondering what took the nurse so long! "Eet was a meestake." Clearly it was.

Idina Iordanau

Idina groaned as the fuzz inside her head grew and her sides began to ache more following spewing her life onto Lucie’s shoes. She’d definitely have to find some way to make it up to the girl, if she even could. Closing her eyes against basically everything, Idina acknowledged mentally the horrible mistake she had made. She’d even managed, somehow, to lose points for Gryffindor in the process. That was a problem she could fix, if she could get out just a few words.

Idina rolled over and looked at @Altair Shafiq, pain in her eyes because hello poison hurts sometimes and two poisons are definitely worse than one. “Four points,” she gasped out. “Four points to Gryffindor, Al-“ she threw up on his pants and shoes, too. “No. Five points to Gryffindor for all of-“ one more time, on Al again. “-all of that.”

Right, no more talking.

Lucie Nezvykly

That sigh sounded ominous.   Lucie could already feel what was going to happen now.  Not that it was difficult considering everyone else in this castle's reactions so far.  Perhaps she could turn it to her advantage when she was chosen for the Tournament.  Nothing like having almost killed someone to psych out your opponents.

"Yes," she replied. "I said poison."
