Fae Nuttall

Fae had spent most of her free time wandering castle as late as she could. She's spent rather a lot of time by the lake, and as near as the Forbidden Forest as she could. She knew she'd venture there sometime, but right now was not the time to be comitting nonsense. It was too soon to leave Hogwarts.
Fae had very few friends in here. She had some, but not like she could talk to them about anything, like she could back at home. So she mainly spent her time looking at many different things that attracted her attention. Like right now, the trophy room.
She spent some of her time looking at all the Gryffindor trophies, hoping that someday, she could win one of those. She hadn't done great at the Quidditch tryouts, but she'd give it a shot sometime. Or maybe not. She'd probably just use it as a hobby anyway.
She'd thought she was alone. But of course she wasn't. She'd been surprised too many times here at Hogwarts. There were footsteps behind her.
She wheeled around, her hair flying behind her.

Kai had never been to the trophy room before. As he was determined to see every parts of Hogwarts, he thought today was a good day to do that, as he had nothing important to do. His classes were done, he had no homework, and he had no special plans with his friends.
He wondered what kind of awards they gave at Hogwarts, what kind of achievements.
Kai reached the door, hesitated outside, wondering if anyone was there. Mostly he was afraid a teacher would be there. Well, not afraid, just shy. He often felt shy around people he did not know very well, at least grown ups.
As Kai pushed open the door and walked inside he saw a wave of hair swing around and the face of a girl meeting his eyes. "Hi," Kai let out immediately, instinctively.

Dani's hair was still a bright pink color. The ends were starting to turn brown, but it was still pretty bad. The reason to this was simple: Cassandra couldn't control her magic and she turned Dani's hair pink out of anger. It was the potion that caused her to forget who she was, and to make it worse Cassandra made it seem as if she, Dani, was a Gryffindor and Cassandra was a Ravenclaw, just so they could be together.
Dani grumbled her pink hair falling out of it's messy bun and falling to her cold cheeks. Her arms were crossed on her chest and, at the moment, she didn't give a damn to who saw her. She had been in the trophy room a couple of times, one of those times weren't so good. Dani couldn't understand how fights seemed to be attracted to her. She wasn't a bad person. She didn't curse just because it was "cool" and she most definately didn't use physical violence (though emotional wasn't to good either). This whole year was a mess.
As she entered she noticed two kids. Angry as she was, Dani wasn't about to be mean to two innocent people who she had never met. Her eyes caught Fae. Oh please! Dani wasn't in a mood to fight today. She instead, she gave a sweet smile showing all of her "pearly whites" and waved.
"Hi Fae!" Dani greeted excitedly. "And who might you be?" she adds politely turning to the boy who was with her. He did look nice, but Dani was WAY over guys. Well, until she was at least sixteen, or fifteen.

It had been a bad weekend, one of the worse Cassandra had experienced since the summer. And to top it off, something snapped in her this weekend, a dark side of herself. She had barely slept all weekend and was extremely angry still. How could Mark yell at her? It hurt, too much.
She hated Dani, and she had accidentally turned her hair pink. It was something she couldn't control. She felt awful about it, but after what happened and Dani had hit her, she didn't know if she should feel bad. She stopped by the bathroom quick, taking a look in the mirror. How, how awful! She hated what she saw.
Standing there staring back at her was a blonde girl with a small, fake smile. She had bags under her eyes from not sleeping in three days, her cheeks and face was pink from screaming, and right below her left eye a scar was starting to form from Dani hitting her. She shrugged and walked out.
Her intentions that afternoon, to head to the Trophy Room. The Trophy Room gave her great comfort. There was a picture on the wall of her father, holding the house cup for Slytherin the year he graduated. She walked into the Trophy Room not noticing anyone there and stood in front of the picture of her dad. Looking at it, she cried for her first time in three days. "Daddy, I wish you were here. I really need you right now, I'm hurting." She looked at the picture and realized she heard voices. She turned around. There was Kai and Fae, two people she loved dearly, and then she saw the pink hair. Dani. "Hi." she said in a small voice.

Dani wasn't in a good mood to begin with and now all of a sudden, Cassandra pops up out of the blue. At least one good thing came out of all of this.
The previous night Dani had recieved a letter from her father. Now that she was at Hogwars he had a secret to tell her. Dani, of course, thought it was a hidden family treasure or something so she excitedly read on. It wasn't a hidden family treasure, however, it was something that was equally interesting. A feud! It sounded lame when Dani read it too, but it turns out that her father, Daniel Forster, secretly plotted against Cassandra's father. It was perfectly wonderful. Maybe her father's hatred against Cassandra's ran through her blood. Maybe it was meant to be!
A sly smile crept over Dani's face. She had the most perfect idea ever! She wiped the smile off her face and smiled at Cassandra.
"Hello Cassandra! What a coincedence to see you here." Cassandra probably thought Dani was nuts as there was no real reason that it was a coincedence that the Gryffindor was here. Cassandra had no idea what was happening in her head and she manned to keep it that way.
Her eyes slowly moved to the unknown boy, he did look quite dashing, but as she said before, she was too young! Plus, she was OVER boys.
"Oh and Cassandra," Dani spoke again her eyes darting back to the blonde. "What has happened to your face." Dani said disgusted a the bags dropping form Cassandra's sleepy eyes. The scar which Dani hadn't meant to get there was still visible. But she was under control of the potion. She didn't mean to slap Cassandra, she thought that SHE was Cassandra. And she thought Cassandra was over the kiss. She was young and stupid. How could she have known that Cassandra would not trust her after that. And the whole Ashley thing. Cassandra knew Ashley hated Dani and vice versa. Yet, Cassandra was best friends wit the girl. Go figure.
"Are you sure you don't want me to call Mark to look at it? I'm sure he'll help, I mean you two really like each other and talk to each other every day." Dani smirked. She Alex up to her and in a hushed voice that only Cassandra could here she said: "And the hair is a little immature don't ya think." Yep, Dani was mad, but it was one of her phases as she transitioned between little girl to teenager.

Cassandra turned to Kai. "How are things going with Lacey?" she asked. It had been a week and a half since there double date. It was a lot of fun and Lacey and Kai truly were great together. Then she turned to Fae, "I haven't seen you around in a bit, I hope you are doing well. I've missed you." She thought back to that day on the Lawn. Fae was a good friend, and Cassandra knew it.
Then, finally, she turned to Dani, head held high. Nothing would really bother her, well, not yet anyhow. She laughed. "Yep! It sure was a coincidence. I'm surprised I ended up here myself." she smiled. It really was a coincidence in the back of her mind. She knew she didn't look good but she sucked it up. "Haha, yeah. I wonder what is wrong with my face every morning I look into the mirror. It's been something I've thought for three years. But now I just deal with it. Oh and I don't sleep well, so that amounts for the looking tired. I should get some cover-up. That would be something good to find when I'm in London on break."
She really couldn't wait to go home for Christmas. This year would be really special. She'd have her brother there with her. It would be a fantastic Christmas. Not to mention, her birthday and Mark. Two other great reasons. Mark. She really loved him, or she feels like she does anyhow. Talking to Dani, she said, "Yeah you can get Mark if you'd like. I'm sure he'll take a look at it. You're right, we do talk all the time. Great thing about him, he's always got time for me.
Looking at her watch she commented, "Looks like he's in the Dueling Chamber. Would you like to go get him?" she asked. It would be nice to see him. She apologized to Fae and Kai. "Sorry if I was interrupting anyone. I kind of wandered here, if you want to call it that." She laughed. As much as she didn't like Dani, she wasn't going to be mean to her. Cassandra wasn't like that, a mean person that is.
"Oh and about your hair," she whispered, "I still feel bad about that." She could feel her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. Pink to match Dani's hair. Inside, she laughed. It really didn't look too bad though. Cassandra would love pink hair, but then again, pink was her favorite color. "I'm researching a way to get it out, but really it doesn't look that bad." Then she asked Dani, "How's Adam? I haven't seen him around much. You two must be seeing a lot of each other, eh?"

Her braid hit her back just as she turned around to meet a boy's eyes. She almost sighed in relief that he wasn't a prefect. When he rapidly answered with a greeting, Fae couldn't help but smile.
"Hey," she said. And just as if her day couldn't get any worse, Daniella Forster walked in the room. Her smile disappeared. She greeted her with a fakeness to her voice and a very intense happiness that would have never been there when she was directing word to Fae.
"You, see, woman, that's what happens when you smoke something you don't know what is."
Daniella Forster wasn't a good memory on her mind. She'd met her on a Muggle park, when she threatened to kill her just because she had "yelled" at her annoying little sister, Ashley. And, no she hadn't really yelled at her. And, to make it all worse, she'd bumoed into her in the Hogwarts Express. Figures.
"Holy mother of...!" she said, jumping, "what the devil happened to your hair?!"
Then, to make things better, Cassandra showed up, greeting wearily and with bags under her eyes. Her pretty blond hair was even a bit messy, which was odd in Cassandra.
"Hi, Cass. No offense, but you look awful. Haven't been sleeping well?"
When Daniella and Cassandra noticed each other's presence, there was an almost immediate fight. Daniella was insulting Cassandra, and Fae didn't like that. The last time she'd seen a fight so bad had been when she and Gwen had fought. And things hadn't gone... well. So out of an impulse...
"Oi! Yes you bloody American!" she recognized the accent. Plus, she had that USA look about her, "just because you're jealous of her, doesn't mean you have to go bugging on everyone's back!"

Cassandra smiled when Fae stuck up for her. She blushed. "I got mad at her and accidentally turned her hair pink. When I get angry, that happens. It's not intentional, and unfortunately, something I can't control, but in this case it's kind of funny."
She turned to face Dani. "I had no idea you were from the States. I thought you lived in London. Or were you born in the States and moved to London? Sorry, I'm utterly confused." She really was. Nothing wrong with the States, Cassandra wanted to go to New York City someday and hopefully around Christmas. She heard it was beautiful there. She also wanted to go to Hawaii.
Fae asked her what happened. "I'm not offended at all. I haven't been sleeping well. I haven't felt good for over a month, and to make things worse, she" pointing to Dani, "did this!" She pointed to a scar under her eye. "She hit me in the face last Sunday by the Lake. Then to make matters worse, Mark yelled at me. I stormed off, and well, I about broke up with him yesterday. I forgave him though because he's an awesome person. Sorry Fae." She gave her a hug. "How's your week been?"

Dani crossed her arms as Fae yelled at her. She had planned to have a good year thos year but Cassandra was determined to make her year hell. Daniella wasn't going to me either one of them intimidate her, however.
"You no what? I'm just going to leave you and your friend alone because I can't take being hated by everyone. I don't even know why we're mad at each other." she said to Cassandra.
Her hair hanging limply she turned towards the door. To be truthful, Dani forgot what they were fighting about. Cassandra was probably just mad about something that happened three months ago!
Dani didn't leave yet, she wanted to hear what Cassandra had to say. Fae was another story.
