Virtual Hogwarts > The Third Floor > Trophy Room
Audrey L McKenzie
She did not know how she was dealing with the first week of classes at all, she was so far behind then most of her other classmates, that she was surpised that she was able to understand what some of the lessons were about at all. Though it did not matter, she was getting used to this life again, she had to. Right now she was walking around the castle trying to remember where everything was. She was looking for some classroom, when she got lost and wondered into the Trophy room, she had never been in here before in her life, so she knew that she was not in the right place at all. Though she was hoping that there was someone in there to help her find her way around this place.

Being a third year and not knowing where anything was stunk so much, she was hoping that she would be advance in her classes and able to understand how this place worked, but she ended up in this room somehow, she wished that she knew how she ended up in here, but it was just a big mess for her to even think about it at all.

Standing there she was walking around the room and saw the dueling tournament trophy's and there was someone name on one of them that she knew, she could not remember the girl that much at all, but they meet when she was in first year. She was a Hufflepuff right, Arianna or something like that was her name, she could not remember. Not knowing that many people to start out with was hard enough, she felt like she was a first year all over again. But she was taller and knew a little more then the little ickles that were at this school. She hoped that she was going to be able to find her way around this school before someone knew that she was lost.

Right now she was trying to find the History of Magic classroom, or she thinks that is her next class that was about to start in maybe a half and hour, she did not know. She was so lost, she was wondering how anyone was able to understand this school at all. While she was walking she saw saome more trophy's and it happened to be one from the time her mother and father were at Hogwarts, they were both in Gryffindor, and on the Quiddy team, and it seemed like they were on the team one year when they won. It was sad that she did not know a lot about this here at all, she was hoping that she was going to be able to keep her mind of her mother and father's death, but it seemed that anywhere that she went it was on her mind.

Her father just passed away a year ago, it was unkowned how he did, just one day he was alive and the next he was not. Then she heard the door open, she did not know who was walking in at all, but she was hoping that it was going to be someone that was able to help her out of this mess and find her way to her next class.
Arianna Lyons
If there was one thing Arianna was not looking forward to was taking more classes. Bad enough that there were seven last year and eight the year before that. Half of them were quite useless while the other half were amusing. Arianna wondered why they couldn't take whatever class they wanted to in the core classes instead of having to endure all the boring plant and star subjects. So here she was not eagerly awaiting another year of Astronomy and Herbology while wondering how to survive the five new ones on her sceduale.

Yes. Arianna was taking all five subjects. Why? Because she had no idea what to do with her life or which of these five were amongst the best to take. Only she knew what she would like not anybody else who tried to convince her otherwise. There was only three more years of enduring all this only to take Owls in fifth year and drop most of them. Then sixth and seventh year would be a piece of cake. By the Arianna was hoping to have a man in her life. Until then, time to glance at her classmates homework the night before big assignments were due. (A)

Somehow, Arianna needed to go to get her mind off of the coming year. The best place for this would have to be the trophy room. A place where she could stare at her name on two different trophies while hoping this year would also be filled with many wonderful memories that would last for years to come.

What the Hufflepuff didn't expect was to find another person in the same room as she opened the door. This girl looked quite familiar. She had seen her on the train on the way to Hogwarts. Both she and Audrey had met the day they were sorted. Back then Arianna hadn't been impressed with her the way she described all the houses among other things she couldn't remember. Then Audrey disappeared from the face of the wizarding world only to recently return. "Oh hi there Audrey. Didn't see you there," she said while eying the place where the dueling trophies stood. "What brings you here? I didn't expect anyone to be here."

She could not believe that she was lost, and could not find the dang class she was supposed to be getting to. She was not happy with herself she so did look like a first year right now. Something that she did not want to look like at all. Though here she was standing in a room that she never been in before thinking that this was some classroom.

As she saw the door open and that someone else walked in, it was Arianna, someone that she meet her first year, well the first day of sorting. She was a Hufflepuff, back in the day she could not stand Hufflepuffs at all, but things have changed in her life. She was still a little bitter but she was trying to be a better person.

Being away from anything magical for two almost three years was hard on someone that had such beliefs, but that was the past. She was knew that there was a lot that was going on in her life, she did not know how she was going to act towards the Hufflepuff, she was still the same person that she was when she was a ickle, she was now an orphian. She had gotten used to thinking that a whole lot more. She hated the fact that she did not have a family anymore. It seemed that so much was going wrong in her life she was surpised that she was still here.

What was she doing in here, well that was so easy she was lost. But she did not want to let her know that. "Hey Arianna, I did not think that anyone would come in here. I just did not want to go to class." She said, that might just work. She was not someone that liked to lie at all, but it was working her well at least she hoped that it was going to work with her.

So Arianna took first place in the tournament last year. Audrey was not good at dueling at all, well she did not think that she was that good at it, she only dueled a few times before she left Hogwarts, and she did not look that good on the platform at all. "Congrats on the win last year. You have to be really good." That was something nice for Audrey to say, she was surpised she was being that nice.

It was strange how students were always disappearing from the castle only to return a few years later. Since Arianna had only been part of the wizarding world for a few years, she thought this must be normal. She couldn't even say she missed Audrey. The two of them hadn't hung out due to her being busy with learning how to play quidditch and practicing every moment she had gotten. These last two years had made Arianna realize one thing and that was it was important to branch out and hang out with people outside of the dueling chamber and quidditch pitch. So far her efforts were proving to be successful.

There was that interesting train ride with Audrey and a few other third years she didn't know to well. Then there was the great feast where she had met a few interesting first years. Last but not least, Arianna was looking forward to being a mentor and getting to know a few young ones. As for the dueling mentor thing, she had yet to find out whether or not she had gotten chosen. Only being a third year she wasn't so sure whether or not this would come to past at least this year.

"I don't blame you for not wanting to go to class. Seems like there are too many third year. Class doesn't start for awhile so I thought I would come in here." Never did it even occur to her that Audrey might not be eager about going back to Hogwarts and classes. Arianna was so wrapped up in her own thoughts with the unexpected kiss in the corridors among other things.

"Why thank you," she said being a little bit embarrassed about being praised for her win during the dueling tournament last year. As for being good, I guess I am okay at it. I just got lucky," she said with a nod. Arianna had been wondering what was up with Audrey since seeing her on the train ride the way to school. Thinking that this was a good time to ask her she said, "What happened to you the last few years? I was starting to think something bad happened."

There was so many people that were leaving and coming back like she was, but she had a really good reason to have left. And she hated that it took her so long to get back to Hogwarts she wanted to come back last year, but it did not happen at all her foster mother did not know that she was magical person. She hated people that did magic or anything like that she thought it was just a waste of time. And she was only talking about the people that do magic on T.V. She did not know that there was a whole world that was all magical people.

Already this was an alright year, she meet some other third year students on her train ride here, and then some of the first years, she could not believe how many first years there was at Hogwarts this year. Though it was alright with her. She was just glad to be back here and not at that muggle school where she was learning math and other subjects. It was sad that she ended up going there. Now she was thinking that she was coming back when there was so many classes that she had to take, it was like ten classes she was able to take up two, though she did not think that she was going to take muggle studies, but then again she might. She was still thinking of the classes she wanted to take. She did not understand some of the classes that were here at Hogwarts. But this was a magical school and she was hoping that the classes were not that bad at all.

"I know, I was gone for two years and now there is so many classes that I have to take." Oh it did not start for a while, that was great. So she was not going to be late. She had thought that she was going to be late today, she did not know any of the professor, so she did not want to look bad as it was her first year back. "They do not, that is great." She was trying to be nice to the Hufflepuff, but she did not know how long that was going to last.

Luck, that what she had heard about the dueling chamber that it was all about luck. Though she did not know, she had a few duels in her first year but she had lost them all. She hated the fact that she lost all her duels, but she was not a dueler at all. "Welcome." She did not know what else to say. Then she asked about what happen to her over the last two years. She did not think that people knew that she was gone, it was not like she meet a lot of people while she was here at all anyway. "The last two years well more then two years it was before I got to Hogwarts has been hard on me, but it was family problems." She said, trying not to look sad in front of the Hufflepuff, she did not want to tell her the whole story about how her mother and twin sister passed away years ago and when she was eleven losing her father and had no family so now she was put into a foster care system. She might later when she gets to know the girl later on, but that is a big might, she did not know the girl that well.
Arianna Lyons
That was partially true. Arianna had been so busy her first year trying to get used to the wizarding world that it was hard to keep track of people disappearing from the castle. Last year had been filled with trip to the dueling chamber on almost a daily basis. At least all her efforts had paid off with the win in the tournament. Yet she came out of her second year wondering why her circle of friends wasn't really a circle at all. Sure there were her dormates like Ali and Rosie whom she occasionally hung out with but that was just about it. This year was bound to get interesting adding a social life away from her two beloved sports thrown into the mix.

Audrey went on to talk about how she was going to have to catch up in classes. "I will help you out with classes if you have any trouble," she said trying to ignore the hint in her friends voice that she was trying to be nice. Arianna couldn't understand people sometimes. Even though she tried to be nice, they wanted to act like a pain in the rear at times as if she offended them in some way. By now she had learned just to ignore them since there was no point acting mean. Well Greg and Odette were exceptions to that rule but they deserved it.

"Oh I see..." she trailed off getting the hint that Audrey did not want to talk about her family problems. What else was there to talk about. Arianna checked her watch and realized it was still some time before their class started. Since she wasn't familiar with Audrey that well, this might be a chance to get her mind off things and get to know each other a bit. "What things do you enjoy doing in your spare time?" Arianna would love to teach her quidditch or something else but wanted to know whether or not she enjoyed going things like that before bringing it up in this conversation.

(Been busy but now I have time and no longer sick... and my Audrey muse is back)

Though she was gone for almost two years, she knew that there was a lot going on at Hogwarts, it seemed that she was starting over again as a first year, but she was a third year. Crazy that she came back just in time for third year. She had like one friend left, and a few of the other people she meet in first year she could not remember who they were at all. Though now she was trying to be nice and make friends. She remembered when she first Arianna she did not like the girl at all because of the house she was in, but that did not mean anything to her anymore maybe they were able to be friends. Who knows.

It seemed that Arianna was being nice to her, she did not understand why at all. It was not like she was nice to girl when they first meet one another at all. But that was in the pass, maybe a lot has happen since she first meet the girl. She knew that it had cause here was her name on the first place trophy . "Thanks, that might be helpful." She said, she did not like being behind at all, she knew that she was so far behind. Audrey was trying to be nice also, she wanted some friends. Though she did not know how that was going to work out at all.

Arianna got the hit that she did not want to talk about her family at all, she talked a whole lot about it all the time. Knowing that there was still time before class, she was wondering what they were going to talk about. And then she asked what she liked to do. That was a good question to ask, Audrey had not done a whole lot at all, she did not like dueling at all. And she never played quidditch at all. "I would say that I like to sing." That was the only thing that she was able to think of, she wished that she could think of something else that was a lot more fun then that. But that was the only thing she was able to think about.
Arianna Lyons
If this asking questions tactic didn't work she could always come up with some excuse on how she had forgotten something and needed to get it before class. Arianna was a nice little Hufflepuff and would never be mean to anyone that is unless you weren't nice to her back. A few people she had dueled had seen this side of her which wasn't one that didn't come out to often. As a matter of fact, there were only two people in this school who had seen the bad side of her.

All bad thoughts about Audrey were pushed aside. The two of them hadn't started off on good terms having met their sorting day when Arianna knew nothing about the wizarding world and even the Hogwarts houses. She had come a long way since then. Hard to believe that was two years ago. Arianna couldn't even imagine not being part of the wizarding world.

"Good," was all she could say while smiling at the thought of helping out a friend. Arianna didn't want to see her classmates fall behind. She may not be the smartest in the class but at least knew enough to help out.

"That's cool. I like to sing to. What kind of songs do you like? Have you been part of a choir or done any solos?" Now we were getting somewhere. Arianna just sang for fun but at least the two of them had something in common.
