Also, well-played mods. You guys TOTALLY invaded my special dreamworld, found the crossover dream I had right after I read The Hunger Games in February, and then used it for today.
*slowclap* I'm going to claim the idea as mine even though nobody cares and I'm probably not the only one who has had a dream like this... /spam |

"Thank you, citizens of Panem, for placing your bets with such reckless abandon! I am proud to announce the current ranks of your top tributes. Adalynn Mercer of District 11 is in the lead with 122 votes, Melissa Tavella, the lone tribute of District 3, has 67. Professor Sheffield of the famed District 13 is representing his region with a healthy 52 points, despite his proclivities towards soiling himself while on national television. Sorry that happened to your couch, Caesar! And finally, we have young James Sawyer of District 12, and Professor Owens, also of District 13, fighting it out while grappling for fourth place.
"You citizens have spoken loud and clearly: something in Adalynn's demeanor has captured the hearts of all of Panem! "Let me now give you some updates from the training gym! I'll be saving the most SHOCKING news for last, so don't lose attention now! First of all, we are proud to announce that indeed, Professor Owens' complicated yarn net was, in fact, a net! Reliable sources are, as yet, unable to explain what the net will be for, as all citizens know, Tributes cannot bring any supplies with them into the arena. Silvia Banagher has proven herself to be an excellent swimmer despite the fact that the specialty of District 1 lies in luxury goods. There are also rumors of a collaboration between Judas Henrion of District 11 in the face of his fellow tribute's overwhelming public support, with the tributes of District 12, Riley Nevin and James Sawyer. "Here we come to the especially distressing news, and embarrassing news at that. Two unfortunate and premature of the lead tributes has many citizens suspecting interference or intrigue afoot. Early this morning, Melissa Tavella was found dead on the floor of her Panem-provided governments in the Capitol City, alongside the corpse of what looked like was her half-formed clone. The exact cause of her death is unknown, but we hope to have more information soon! Equally as shocking, and even more recently, is that thirty minutes ago, while learning the art of Australian Boomarang Throwing, Adalynn Mercer was entirely beheaded by a rogue weapon. These two deaths are especially heartbreaking given that the tributes weren't even in the arena yet, and all citizens are encouraged to place their votes on another tribute if they have any left. "More news as it comes! Thank you, and for tonight, and all of Panem, I am Effie Trinket. Thank you for changing your trousers, Professor Owens." OFFICIAL INFORMATION: The first TWO people to post with the "I volunteer as tribute!" form to fill the losses in District 3 and District 11 will be allowed to do so. Once these positions have been filled, voting may recommence. You might even get some new votes to play with! |

WORKS FOR ME, OLLIE.
The replacement tributes have been chosen! David Roiben from District 3, and Oliver Nece from District 11 are currently on trains headed into Panem's Capitol City, and the voting process may begin once again! As a reminder, you may vote for the following:
2: Wyatt Rutter, Marie-Claire Abienne 3: David Roiben 11: Oliver Nece, Judas Henrion 12: Riley Nevin, James Sawyer 13: Professor Owens, Professor Sheffield Given the recent change in the tribute pool, President Snow has allowed each citizen an allotment of five more votes added on to any votes you may or may not have used up til now. Here's your form, and get voting! The Hunger Games await! CODE I AM PLACING A BET
Name: Betting on Name with Number of my votes.
CLARIFICATION ON VOTE NUMBERS: Each citizen should have had 10 votes total. A few will have more: 12. (They will have used all 5 of their votes between post 952 and 1003.) |

I AM PLACING A BET
Betting on OLIVER NECE, HOLY HUFFLEPUFFS with OVER 9000--I mean five of my votes. Yes, I am voting for the kid who once said to the Sorting Hat (when he had a tongue, naturally): "Hello Mister Hat! I'm Ollie," he greeted giddily, plunking right down on to the stool and swinging These are the words of a potent killer. |
