THE VH HUNGER GAMES (In which many people died gruesome deaths. Reader discretion advised.) The Great VH April Fool's Day Prank of 2012! Here are links to all the most exciting (and hilarious) things that happened! LET THE GAMES BEGIN! --------------- We’d like to give you guys fair warning about some changes that are about to be coming to VH23 before any more of you submit your sorting forms. In an effort to have VH remain more relevant to the popular fantasy literature of today, VH will, from VH23 on, be turned into a Harry Potter/The Hunger Games crossover RPG. We’re doing this in order to give you more roleplaying opportunities and also to draw a new type of fanbase to the site. The plot for VH23 will be simply orchestrated: a reaping has been held, and a pair of tributes from each house will be selected to participate in a Death Match "Triwizard" Tournament. This plot is being sponsored by the Death Eaters of VH, and so you can expect that all but one of these tributes will die in the tournament. If selected as tribute, you MUST play along with this plot – it is not possible to “opt out”. The tributes have been selected, and they are:
District 2: Marie-Claire Abienne, Reece Pendleton District 3: Petronilla Quirke, Francis Barnes District 11: Adalynn Mercer, Archer Smith District 12: Hedwig Lane-Foley, Simon Armistead District 13: Professor Owens, Professor Weber If you have too much love for a character listed above to see them die and would like to take their place, you may volunteer as tribute for the same gender and house. (For instance, a female from District 12 may replace the female District 12 tribute.) Please post in this thread with your offer to replace the tribute. If you see that somebody has volunteered, and you’d like to volunteer for them, you may become a substitute for their substitution ad nauseum. "It seems as if the boys have finally decided not to be outdone! Districts One and Twelve have put forth some brave lads to defend the honor of their Districts! The Captiol is also ABUZZ about the seeming love interest blooming between District Two's female Tribute, Eilis and the former Tribute from District One, Atwell!
We all wonder what will happen to Eilis now that Chase has volunteered in Atwell's place! Will she fight to WIN so that she can rush back to his arms? Or will she crumble now that she has no one to be a human shield for? And about the new male Tribute from District One?
