For some reason, Lyrianna had the sudden urge to walk. Just walk aimlessly. So when her mother stood up from her armchair and looked at her thoughtfully, proceeding to announce that it was time she got her wand, Lyrianna was actually thankful. Wand shopping wasn't something she'd been looking forward to in specific, but she was curious to see what wand would be the one to choose her, and she just really needed to get up and do something.

Her mother had insisted on taking the flu network to Diagon Alley, so Lyrianna had just rolled her eyes and sighed. She could get to all that walking once they arrived. Which, luckily, didn't take too much time at all. They were there in almost an instant, pushing their way into the crowded, cobbled street.

Busy places were Lyrianna's favourite. She loved being around people, seeing all the diverse and varying personalities. People were all so different, it was amazing! She always loved to observe things - situations, people, places. Somewhere like Diagon Alley was perfect for her mind, it kept her interested and stopped her from getting bored.

"Mama," she tugged at her mum's sleeve and batted her eyelashes. "I want to go and have a look at some quills or something before we go for my wand. Is that okay? You could go and get a drink or something."

After a moment of persuading her mama to let her go, Lyrianna rushed off into the sea of people and found herself staring into shop windows and not, in fact, looking for quills at all. At one point, she came across another child around her age, laying on the floor as though they'd fallen or been pushed.

"What are you doing down there?" she furrowed her eyebrows thoughtfully and crouched down beside the person, crossing her arms.

No Ashley had not wanted to come to Diagon! However, that was the only ave she could run to to escape the dreaded baby-sitter and her 'snuggle time'. Ashley legs were feeling weak and her lungs were buring. Running all the way to your best friends house and using her floo to get yourself to Diagon and then running all over the place was not something she did often.

Her legs hit the cobblestones with great impact and carried herself further. Ashley could hear the blood pounding in her ears as her breathing increased. She turned left and pushed into somebody leaving her sprawled across the floor.

The man who she had bumped into, didn't even notice the small eleven-year-old and continued on his way.

"Watch it." she grumbled under her heavy breathing and just sat there while the shock of it all wore off.

A girl her age walked over to her asking if she was okay. Normally, Ashley would of pushed her away, but today she was feeling quite down so instead, greeted to her and responded to her question.

"Oh, um, some guy bumped into me." Ashley said slowly standing up and dusting herself off. "Don't worry about it." Ashley didn't need someone to care for her, she could do it herself. Plus, she didn't get hurt much.

"Oh. Okay then," Lyrianna shrugged and jumped up to stand next to the girl. However, she frowned. She hadn't been worried about it. "I wasn't worried. I was just wondering why someone such as yourself would be sat on the floor in the middle of such a busy place."

Actually, Lyrianna had done that before. Purposely sat in the middle of a bustling pedestrianised road, pavements, heavily occupied rooms. It was odd to some, but it was just something she did. Something Lyrianna found entertaining - normal, even. Others had often stopped and questioned her, but Lyrianna continued to sit in the middle of busy places.

"Oops, how impolite of me," Lyrianna cleared her throat and mockingly slapped her wrists, imitating her mama in a heavily Polish accented, articulate voice. "I'm Lyrianna Zientara, eleven year old witch on her way to Hogwarts. Now that you know my life story, what's yours?"
