  2. Malachi Moon

    ASA Introductions

Name: Malachi Moon House: Gryffindor Sorting Year: VH36 Blood: Halfblood Ethnicity: Korean Languages: Korean & English. What is your character hoping to get out of this club: If there is anything Malachi misses, it is his mother and father’s food. Is there anything you're looking for ooc-ly: I’d really love for Malachi to have people he can speak to in Korean, even if they aren’t necessarily fluent or Korean. It would make him feel needed and special! I’d love for him to be able to celebrate his culture, and gain confidence to wear some type of traditional wizard style hanbok. Also, people to take over the kitchens with and make pretty poor renditions of favorite dishes, and maybe something to celebrate the lunar new year in the second semester? ^^ tl;dr: friends please! Anything else you'd like us to know about your character: Not at the moment.
  3. Chaol Edevane

    ASA Introductions

Name: Chaol Edevane House: Gryffindor Sorting Year: VH39 Blood: Muggleborn Ethnicity: British Korean, though he is fully Korean Languages: English, a little Welsh. He's trying to learn Korean though. What is your character hoping to get out of this club: No clue, though maybe a little like Jerome has been in RPs, in that he wants to find people he can connect to Is there anything you're looking for ooc-ly: All the things. Also if there's someone here of Asian descent that can help me develop Chaol's personal goals regarding his heritage in a way that is respectful to Korean culture and Asian cultures as a whole. Anything else you'd like us to know about your character: Fun fact: Chaol's birthname is actually Cheol, but there was a typo when he was given a birth certificate
  4. Chaol Edevane

    ASA Club Information

I just get this image of Chaol or someone doing a mukbang or something to bring attention to a subject related to the club. I think though that it'd be fun to think about how to combine aspects of both wizard culture and Asian cultures (speaking from an OOC perspective) and use that to come up with ways to share that IC. I'll get back to you on that if I think of something
  5. Jerome Chan

    ASA Club Information

Apart from festivals/celebrations and a lot food to share, Jerome is also happy to share his knowledge on Chinese philosophy and to a lesser extent, Chinese history! Some impromptu lessons may be a possibility? We could maybe meet at the kitchens/great hall for food-related things, and the lawn/somewhere outdoors for ceremonial things, and an unused classroom for indoor activities?
