  1. Thaddeus Roseclaw, the head of the SNARLL pen pal program at the Taith Coch Werewolf Reserve, broke his silence today on the November 8 attack at Hogwarts with this statement to media:

“Byron and I are both deeply saddened by the events at Hogwarts. We want to offer our sincere apologies to the families of those students who were affected by the attack.

The individuals in our care have often come to the reserve because of discrimination they have faced in certain aspects of their lives, and often have very troubled pasts. We are unable to say more about those werewolves who went missing at this time, but we want to reassure the wizarding community that we’re fully committed to helping with the investigation to the best of our ability. With our help, we believe that the aurors will be able to find the werewolves involved and bring them to justice.”

  2. IK: Hello, this is Isla Kelly with your nightly news. Continuing coverage from the attack on Hogwarts, the Ministry of Magic has issued a news bulletin urging wizarding families to be careful when traveling. The wolves that escaped from the Taith Coch Reserve have yet to be apprehended by the Werewolf Capture Unit, and the Auror Office reports that their whereabouts are currently unknown. If approached by a werewolf, please report their location to the Werewolf Capture Unit. All of the escaped werewolves are considered extremely dangerous and you should not attempt to interact with them.

Now to Michael Santander for the latest news on this year’s Quidditch season.

RE: I AM NOT A WEREWOLF

    Quote

Dear Hufflepuff & Hogwarts at large,

I didn’t think I’ll have to resort to this but I am at the end of my rope.

From here on end, I would like everyone to know that I am NOT A WEREWOLF. I am 100% human, from head to toe. (If you don’t believe me, I’ll prove it to you on the next full moon.)

Yes, my grandfather is Fenrir Greyback and no, I do not worship him like some of the other insane werewolves do. He is the most despicable creature to have walked the earth and no one hates him more than I do. If you wish to contest that, feel free to talk to me as well.

This public note may seem like a farce for you but hey, you’re not the one who has been pushed around and kicked at for the entirety of the first term.

    Respectfully,
    Niles Greyback
